Carnations on valentines day is always good way to raise quick dough.
A car wash, 5 bucks a car.
Raffles at sporting events, or really any event where groups are gathered.
Halloween dance, charge cheap admission

Have you considered selling crack? Not in your own community, of course. You should reach out to neighboring communities.

And then there's crack, the last resort. And if .017 of your stash gets narked then .017 price increase! Everybody wins! Well, not the crackheads.Originally Posted by EinBebop

That could work too.Have you considered selling crack? Not in your own community, of course. You should reach out to neighboring communities.

Yeah, there's always crack as a last resort, but that not only gets you arrested, it tend to kill off your customer base. Addictive substances like chocolate, cookie dough and other candies tend to make more legal profit and they keep your customers happy. Cady especially sells insanely well at parents office's.

Hey guys I don't think the president will agree with us selling crack. But it was a good idea(lol!) I really didnt think about selling candy. We're thinkiing maybe have a couple jr/sr high dances and charge $2-$3 dollars to get in and then sell soda and glow sticks. What do you guys think?

Besides candy and car washes, the band at my high school holds an annual spaghetti dinner to make some extra money.

Well, theres another idea that my the Boy Scout troop I am affiliated with does...
Selling Christmas wreaths is a good money maker. A lot of the wholesale plant places can give you credit account that you dont have to pay 30 - 60 days (great when you dont have the money up front for the materials), but the idea only works if you start promoting that you are selling wreathes sometime really soon. Basically you guys make them up and sell them. The troop rakes in from that about $4000 - $6000.

Some committee I was on in High School did some fundraising by selling pancakes in the morning.
You just need a hot plate and pancake batter, (which isn't expensive), and paper plates, etc. We didn't make thousands, but it was easy enough to set up, and people enjoyed it.
I really never thought about selling pancakes that's a good idea The wreath idea is really good too.

I loved buying those gourmet lollipops in high school. They were 25- or 50-cents but they were so good, i'd buy like, 10 of them, whether I was selling them or not. I see them at Walmart now, but they're still fun to sell.
Depending on where you live, a Longaberger basket auction can bring in a hefty amount. It's big in country-side Pennsylvania (I never heard of them until a friend mentioned it for our fundraiser) and apparantly they're collector items or something. We didn't do that, but ended up creating a volleyball competition (fun fun fun but the idea was stolen by SGA) and a dodge ball competition (also stolen by SGA). Ultimate frisbee/football works, too.
