Well... I'm going to be publishing a book of mine by the end of the year at www.cafepress.com. You can have your book or comic or whatever printed there and people can buy it. Check it out

Going to http://www.silverbulletcomicbooks.co...ss/splinks.htm will provide a list of links to help you out.

Also, their 6 part self-publishing guide is pretty helpful.
    Part 1
    Part 2
    Part 3
    Part 4
    Part 5
    Part 6

Also, Marvel's Epic Comics gives you the chance to get them to publish you if choosen.

Tokyopop's 2nd Rising Stars of Manga contest closed, but there'll probably be a new one in the future.

    Hope this helps you out.
Yup. It's a signature. Go away if you're expecting something interesting here.

You don't have to beg for help. People may be in school/work/whatever and just aren't online right now. Also, people may decide not to post due to said begging. Patience is a virtue after all.

I can't help you with publishing, but do you have any of your manga online? I love checking out other peoples' work.

I don't know for sure how the "industry" does it but...

I would, in all honesty, check out your local printers. I know (and have bought from) a guy who does limited TransFormer arts prints that way. Though, be aware that you'll have a fairly uphill battle when it comes to pricing. For example, he's charging $20 or so for each of the 100 average-poster-sized prints he had made. While I'm fairly sure he's not raking in the dough, I wouldn't be surprised if he was talking more about the up-front costs of actually having them printed to begin with.

When I was considering self-publishing, which I still am, it was suggested that I do what's called a "fanzine" first. In case you've never seen one, they're usually a short magazine (written by fans, hence the fan-zine) that's essentially photocopied or laserprinted. How rare are they these days anyhow? If they're still popular, you might want to give that a try if only to avoid investing hundreds of dollars into something that you might not stick with or that might not pan out.

Then again, if anyone in the "industry" has more insight, I'd be glad to hear it as well.

PS - I second the request to see some of your manga online. Don't know what country you're from, but either way it'd be neat to see your particular take on the art...

You got your own Manga series, that seems pretty interesting and stuff, and I just hope people will like it and stuff, BTW this topic is suppose to be in the anime forum too.
