"I'll be back." - The Terminator... and The Penguin

(In case any of you are wondering I linked this through Entertainment, DVD and DC Animated so hopefully some of you who don't frequent the Cafe would see it. )

I'll admit right off that bat that if it feels like you've read this before it's because I posted something similar last year when I took a break for the same reason. Anyway...

It is time once again (and for the last time) for The Penguin to pack up and head back to college. The summer goes by way to fast. I swear there must be a month missing out of it or something.

In addition to being a college student, I am also a Senior Resident Assistant. For my SRA training (for those of you who don't know what an RA is, think of it as the "mod of college residence hall floor" ) I have to return to college on Thursday, August 14. The campus is rather quiet when I get there and I will be the only one in the building except for my boss for the first week or so, and then the other 7 RAs on my staff will join me for regular training. I have high hopes that my cable will be on since I sent a nice note to the cable company so we'll have to see. The internet won't be on and the guy who sets up it won't even be there until September.

This long drawn out story means that I will not be on Toon Zone much if at all, starting next Thursday until probably after Labor Day in the U.S. (Sept. 1). It's certainly different for me to be off of Toon Zone for so long, missing out on great discussions and TV shows talkbacks. The good part is though my school internet is much faster than what I have here at home.

To all my fellow WWE fans:
I will miss having the chance to talk about the shows with all of you, even though I won't be able to tell you what I thought, I will find a way to see them all. For those of you Heat and Velocity viewers it'd be great if you would included the WWE.com previews if you are the first post. It's not tough and you can find them easily enough—Velocity and Heat. Confidential repeats are pretty easy to track down most of the time for those of you how are overly ambitious. Using the preview I do a forum search and I almost always find it easily. I comment on about everything so I honestly use my comments since the previews don't match up or anything.

The WWE Big Question will go on a hiatus with me and will return with #45 the first week in September. Things have been rather sporadic this summer for The Big Question, but I hope to have a little bit more consistency this fall. I have some good submissions and some other good ones just waiting to be asked.

People of the Entertainment Board:
You kids play nice while I’m gone. I don’t want to come back and find out all kinds of trouble was caused. For those of you who like the movie talkbacks you obviously can’t send me your requests if I’m not here so all I ask is that you use discretion. If there is already a movie talkback or two on the board maybe you should wait until the next day or the day after that. Multiple movie talkbacks started without a theater release or a TV airing just clog up the board. I’ll add them to the list when I return if no one else has time.

To the DC Animated folk:
I hate to miss the Batman and Superman talkbacks, but if another mod doesn't get them I'm sure you can track them down. Jim will probably finish off our Batman: TAS collection while I'm gone.

DVD discussers:
I don't have niche thing on the boards so I'll just see you all when I get back. Play nice.

Dilbert viewers:
I will tell you everything I think you need to know in Sunday's talkback. Look for all the answers then.

Cafe TZ goers:
How ya doing? I don’t make it here as much as I used to.

You kids be good while I'm gone (I really mean it this time).

hey man. we'll certainly miss you around these here parts. i'll see you on these boards (and messenger ) after labor day then. i won't be seeing you at college again, obviously, because i transferred. but i'll be up there on a weekend or two to hang out
