Well, actually, I'm not doing a whole lot this summer. I've tried looking for some part-time work, but there hasn't been any luck yet. There's one place that I did get an interview for, though, and afterwards they said they'd call me back (if they feel I have potential) for a final interview. No calls yet, but then it did take them over a month after I brought in my resume for them to call me for the first interview.
So I'm kind of hanging around the house until then. The only major thing I have to do this summer is take a driver's license road test on August 7th. I have my license, but it's a "G2" license, and the test is for getting the "G" license, which is better to have (I'm not sure if they have this sort of licensing outside of Ontario).
I've been going to the YMCA to work out every two or three days, which is pretty much the only time that I go out (or get any real exercise, for that matter). Otherwise, I've been around the house, going on the computer, playing video games, and reading. It's been pretty relaxing.
As for university, I'm going into year 3 of a 4-year program. I had to choose my courses in June, and even though it was a bit of a hassle, I got the courses I wanted, so that's settled.
As for relationships, that's something I'm not worrying about right now. I'm not really actively seeking one. If something works out, good, but like LLJ, I'm not terribly looking forward to complicating my life beyond school and work.
Oh, and our family went to visit relatives in early July for about a week and a half, and if no jobs show up, we'll probably go again in the latter half of August. Another trip that I'm taking is with my brother and mom to Toronto for a couple of days. We're leaving this Thursday, actually.
So, that's my summer so far. Not terribly exciting, but I'm not complaining.![]()

, the last thing I want to do is get into something while I still don't even have my own life quite on track yet! I know a lot of young people here have been getting into things while juggling other stuff in their life. I am not interested in social disorder, so one dealing with thing at a time is good enough for me.

I've done some freelance tutoring, but that's about it. Through high school, my parents never pushed me to get one, so I didn't. Fortunately, monetary concerns for university aren't a problem right now, so I'm looking for work mainly for some experience.
Anyways, she loves me and I guess thats part of how she shows she cares.
