    Actually I wanted a little--you know, I'm not quite sure what those are; they remind me of a video game character called Kirby who came out a few years back. Anyway, I wanted one blowing out candles on a cake, but it was over 75 by 75 pixels, or whatever units avvys are measured in. So I almost went with one with a little helium balloon in his hand, but then I spotted this one. He's enjoying a celebratory drink (of root beer, of course).
    Spent my morning babysitting Saliah while her mom was at a job interview, playing music clips off http://www.bobdylan.com and singing along. She loves to fall asleep to music. I suppose that simple joy serves to tell us that even in the light of Tuesday's horror, life goes on. Mourn the dead but celebrate the living.
