Oh my goodness, the world Tade center, and the Pentagon where both attacked.
All off them where hit, and goodness knows how many people lost their lives. This is sick, look at the footage on the news.

I saw the second crash as it happened. I was sick to my stomach. I cannot believe this. This is the final straw. We, as a nation and a world cannot put up with this any longer. As soon as the people behind this are found, they need to be taken out right on the spot. These terrorists are cowards at the most and need to be made an example of. I'm just so emotional I don't know what to say. I guess when it happens close to home it really hits hard. In any case, today (9-11-01) will go down forever in history....

My God, you guys, I'm so scared. The whole mess is on TV here at the university, everyone's watching it. We watched the Trade Towers collapse, and heard people trying to jump out of the building... I can't describe how it felt. Absolutely sick and horrified at the same time is as close as I can come....
I hope whoever's responsible for this is caught and shown no mercy.

The problem is the ignorant American perception of Bush as a fool, weakling, and election thief is spreading to other countries, and they think they can bully us because we won't act back. This is what happens when a country doesn't respect its elected leaders...neither do foreign powers. This gives the Saddams and the Castros and the Stalins and the Hitlers a back door to our parlor.
If Bush does nothing about this, or any, matter, he's seen as ineffective...but if he shows his strength he'll be called dangerous, power-hungry and despotic. His dissenters are never happy....

NEWS: Many agencies are now on alert; ones that haven't closed for the day. The FBI is the biggest agency up and running right now (naturally, I guess).
Four planes were hijacked too make this situation as well.
Oh geez...I never thought that all the Bush-bashing could possibly come to this. I think if Bush does something, he'll be called desoptic, yes, but it's better than doing nothing at all. Sigh....I say we take a bigger stand on foirgen policy; because I fear how cocky terroists may become from this...

NEWS: Bush said he is going to have a full-scale investigation to find the jerks (my word) who did this. I applaud him for acting so soon.
Many now think that Osama Bin Ladin has planned this. Why? He is one of the few who had the money and supplies to pull it off...and it's said he's been itching to get at the U.S. for a while now.
Also....in 1978, this same day, the Camp David accord was signed. People say that terroists like dates like this for strikes, and it thus confirms more that a Muslim like Bin Ladin may have done this...

As for posting often, well...at times like this, we all do kinda crazy things. But to me it's somewhat calming to see people posting here right now - almost like a therapy group or a safe place where friends are to run to. There's strength in numbers, yes?
I was feeling like a long-tailed stray cat in a room full of rocking chairs for a while. Still do, in fact, but I'm not shaking as much now. Everyone else out there doing all right, given the circumstances?
For now I'm gonna watch the news some more - I don't even know if classes are going to go on as usual here, and we're hundreds of miles from New York. Please, please, take care all.

As a matter of fact, I have repeatedly called the police dept.(they have an office less than a block from there) and so far, they have no plans to shut down. If I hear of another incident though, [SCREW] IT!
