"Brains...brains..."
In an amazing story from ABC7.com, a decapitated man has his head put back on his body and he LIVES. Some vital internal circuitry stayed attatched to his body to make this medical miracle a possibility.

Wow. That is absolutely incredible. Thank goodness for modern medicine.
jesus, mary and joseph! That is both absolutely incredible and terribly freaky at the same time. That's got to be like one in a zillion kinda deal. It's freaky because well...geezus I would have freaked if I were the medical staff on call when he came in. That would scare the living daylights out of me.

Well he wasn't really decapitated. The vital parts stayed connected. The miracle isn't so much with the science is the fact that those parts didn't rip off with the rest of his head. When I think decapitated, I think TOTALLY cut off. And as of yet, there is no way to fix that.

If this is true, then I'm 100% shocked out of my life. But I won't believe it until I actually see happen if front of me. this is just like an episode of the outer limits where the guy gets his head removed and placed on someone elses body.
I read this a few days ago... it's quite mind-boggling what medical science can do these days.
So... will this coin the term, "recapitation?"
My origins have been clouded in mystery... some say that I was once a man, known as Hamato Yoshi. Another tale states that I was once merely a humble pet rat of a man named Hamato Yoshi. For the record allow me to state that both are true... and yet, neither is true. Such is the way of Ninjitsu.
Eh it happens... I remember a similar article a few years back(that was on Datline), where a kid was riding his ATV, did not see barbed wire strung across private property he was going into, and got knocked off and almost decapitating himself. After 15 hours of surgery, the kid lived but has a large "zipper" halfway around his neck.

Good lord. Not only surviving, but get back to his normal life?! That is unbelieveable. I thought if they had manage to put the head back, he's have been incapacitated for life!
LUCKY guy!

Lucky or not, it seems out methods in medical use have gone a bit advanve if they were able to do that.
Amazing, and he lived?? Even if his head wasn't totally ripped off, it still is a miracle he lived. He sure got lucky, I didn't think it was possible!

Ow. Ow ow ow. Just hearing the words "decapitate" and "lives" in the same sentence makes me cringe. But, the guy's lucky. Really lucky.
Geez, who knew.... well I'm very glad he's ok.
That is amazing. Luck had a lot to do with it. Science is not good enough to usually do that, and his head was still slightly attached.
