I just want to say that Mod Maxie has come up with a cool avatar. I actually had to think about why he would drop Zeus pics for a swan in flight before I remembered Leda and the Swan, and how it's still Zeus. Great job, man! What next, a bull? An eagle? A golden shower? (heh-heh!)

I'll accept praise for the choice of pic, but true credit for the avatar lies with Dr. Belch and Bourgeois Buffoon, who reminded me of the mythic elements.

I'm also glad you posted a thread on an avatar. Since the closing of TNP we really haven't had a good place to praise each other's avatars. A thread on AniGen called "Ooooh, I like that avatar!" is a good place to keep the mutual backscratching going.

So I'll pass along the favor by praising Frozen's avatars, both the new incarnation and the old one. Freeze is so stylish.

But because it does have the capacity to spin out of control, I think we'll be much more vigilant about O/T posts.

To keep this one on-topic, I've been trying to place your latest avatar calhoun, and I give up. I'm guessing it's a Twin Peaks one, but I'm not sure.

Yes, it's from Twin Peaks, the Little Man From Another Place, who appeard in the Red Room, where Agent Cooper first had a dream about Laura and key clues to lead to the revelation of the killer.

I actually remember a lot of people on this board by their avatars...so when someone changes thier avatar, I start getting confused about who is is! I'm getting a little better with everyone's name now though!

I know the feeling! Some people I've known for a long time, so I recognize their name, but others that I've known for only a short time I sometimes get confused about because they change their avatars. I've had the same avatar since I got here - too lazy to change it!

I concur, I'm still taken aback by how neat that avatar looks. Frozen's looks good too, Mr. Freeze always is an imposing figure.

the only avatar I was truely freaked out by was jokers "bub" one..that still scares me to this day..

Bird_Boy - I think your avatar is REALLY cool. I was kinda jealous when I saw it - I thought to myself "Why didn't I think of that!" (well, besides the fact that it doesn't really have anything to do with my name of course).

I assume you mean the Larua Palmer scream one? I still can't find the image of the scream I want to use, but that was was rather cool, but I guess I can see how people would get creeped out by it! I have one I still have in reserve, which I am contemplating using, but it might be too freaky. But it's from the TV show, so how bad could it be? It's of Laura Palmer and she has blood coming from her mouth. Very creepy indeed.

Calhoun, if you use that Avatar, I'd say my vote for creepiest avatar went rom Zeus's fat blue queen to that one!

BTW, I'd have to say that the avatars I found most interesting were Bird Boy's 'shredded to bits' avatar, BELCH's Castro smiley, and Singin' Stray Cat's avatar. Sorry if you didn't get on the list, anyone else... But there were lots of good ones to choose from.

Yeah, i see the avatar first and then figure out which person it is. And i haven't changed my avatar since the begining, cuz i like it. No other Optimal Optimus has compared to this one. Course, i bet Bird_Boy's cropping and everything had something to do w/ that

And i really do like everyone's avatars. Nice work!

To sum it up a bit (since I love many) I'll say I've completely LOVED all the BTAS/TNBSA avatars I've seen. Clayface's is one of my favorites, and Mad Hatter's original gave me goosebumps cuz I loved it so much (the close up shot of Hatter from "TRIAL" in BTAS).

I have three Nightwings total, and this one here is my third. I'm gonna clean up the first two (since I have Photoshop now, while I didn't when I made them) and this one is gonna be a regular. I had that saluting dork of a BB GothamPD guy as a temporary one until I got this one finished. I've been doing stuff like that if I need a temporary/short term one to put up before I finish Nightwing ones I'm working on.

And I love DG's current avatar. It's really great, plus if it was like 2 times bigger, it could probably be a painting or something. Very nice.

That actually is a picture of my cat Tuffy (though not the best picture of him), and I think his eyes are glowing from the flash...I never even thought about it!
