Ninja-Costumed Men Panic Motorists

Two men caused quite a disturbance on I-75 Wednesday afternoon. A truck driver called 911 and told police two men dressed in full ninja suits were pointing a gun at motorists along I-75 in Detroit. More than a dozen patrol cars from both state and Detroit police departments pursued the Ford Escort. A portion of I-75 was shut down and the suspects were caught. Police report the two men are from Gaylord. They had just purchased the ninja outfits in Lansing and were on their way to see some family members in metro Detroit. Police also report the two men had a sword in their car, not a gun. They were released because police did not believe they intended to harm anyone.
