Well, I just submitted my to Huntsman. I'll probably be working on some more later, but I think the 11 I submitted is enough for now.
As you all have noticed when browsing our website, but not in Café Toon Zone, the top left corner of our website contains rotating images that depict characters from various animated movies and programs. These corner images not only bring variety to our website, but are representative of what we all love. Toon Zone has been serving the animation community for over ten years now and we have had the privilege of helping people enjoy their passion and to connect with others who wish to do the same. While these corner images are only a small part of that, many individuals have taken notice of them and we wish to get the community involved so that they can create their own images and submit them into consideration.
While the process is really quite simple, it may take some time before people figure out exactly what they need to do. While we’re here to answer any questions and to help rectify any problems that arise, people will ultimately have to experiment with their chosen program in order to grow familiar with the process in which these corner images are created. However, the first thing that you need to do is download the original template file, which will allow you to insert an image of your choosing and arrange it in the manner that you feel provides the highest quality. In order to make use of the original template file, you will need a program that will allow you to make the necessary changes; there are a variety of programs that would work, such as Adobe Photoshop, but there is a free program, GIMP, that can be downloaded and used as well. The website for GIMP also contains some instructions for using the program that may come in handy.
Once you’ve managed to get your corner images created, save them as PNG files, upload them and send them to Jave via private message; be sure to let us know which characters are featured in your corner images and what animated movie or program they are from. This is important as we will automatically reject any submissions that refuse to make that information known upfront. Also, please don’t post corner images directly in this thread, as we want to keep these a surprise for if they are selected and put into rotation.
Here are a few things to keep in mind before you try to create your own corner image.
- Don’t be discouraged if some of your submissions are rejected. We expect to receive a lot of submissions and not all of them can be approved, but to improve your chances, try to ensure that your submissions are of the highest possible quality. It is best to avoid using images that are blurry or have distorted colors, or have any other noticeable issues.
- The size of the original template is roughly 227 x 158 pixels, meaning that the image you wish to insert should not be much larger than that or you run the risk of having the featured characters take up too much space and be difficult to see properly. If the image is larger than that, you could try to resize it, but make sure that it doesn’t suffer a noticeable loss in quality or it may ultimately be rejected.
- Be sure to disable the Toon Zone logo as well as the white text in the middle of the original template before you save your file as a PNG. However, you should always test what your corner image looks like with the Toon Zone logo in order to ensure that it doesn’t cover up any important parts of your chosen image.
To those who are interested in taking part in this process, we wish you the best of luck and hope you enjoy it. For those who aren’t interested, or simply can’t participate, you’re more than welcome to use this thread to discuss the corner images that are already in existence or you can recommend characters you’d like to see used in hopes that another user will submit what you suggested.

I submitted a few to represent the american comedy that is severely under represented.
I might make more if I remember other series that need exposure.
I'll working on doing a Ducktales and a Darkwing Duck image later. I also have an image of Mickey, Donald and Goofy that I didn't submit yet, I'm waiting until I make a few more before sending that one off on.
@ Jacques: Is there a specific Nicktoon you want an image for?

I'll be glad to take suggestions, I can make them pretty quickly (anyone can once you get the technique).
This is addicting.
A billion images are going through my mind as I type this. o_o
2010 Completed Game List
Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth; God of War III; Final Fantasy XIII; Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots; Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney; Grandia; Castlevania: Symphony of the Night; Power Stone; Power Stone 2; Dino Crisis
New batch was added last night. Check them out.
I've been forwarded all the submitted pictures and I appreciate all the help. All of you are going to get at least one of your pictures up there eventually, but don't expect them too soon because the next few batches will be the last ones made by the staff.
Since we have a lot to work with, images will probably rotate more often from now on.

"Adventure Time" is mine. I made it months ago, so it's nice to see it up.
57 is...That's one of mine along with 55, 56 and 60.Spoiler:
The Spike one was from the BeBop movie at the beginning. "Just a simple bounty hunter, ma'am!"
I would suggest that it's not the medium, but the quality of perception and expression, that determines the significance of art. But what would a cartoonist know? -Bill Watterson
52 is Akito Tenkawa from Martian Successor Nadesico.
I wonder if which of the 9 I submitted will show up or if they're considered too obscure.
"Burning Man"? I think you mean "Burning Urethra" -- that place is a massive colony of venereal diseases being nurtured by their human servants. -zombie

Thanks, is there a general BG color also or is it just your choice of dark purple (blue)?
ALSO, this is a pretty small nitpick, but things like this kind of irk me...
These are just two examples, MOST of them this time around seem to be small, but there are a few that have a larger yellow. This was also evident in the last batch. I'm not sure why this is happening though, when you edit these, the yellow shouldn't be touched anyways, so is it just the system?
I noticed that the Beauty and the Beast one had an extra circle of yellow myself. I thought it was intentional, since I did end up creating a pic similar to that one.

That extra yellow border was probably added (intentionally or not) by the person who made those particular ones. I'm guessing it was a small screw-up, but nothing that requires much fixing, as it's not that noticeable (I never noticed until you pointed it out).

I'd prefer not to download and risk getting a virus.
But could a nice person please put up a Spumco-era R&S banner? Or a Bonus Stage banner? Or a Pearls Before Swine banner? Or a Film Cow.com banner?
I really shouldn't be so overprotective about viruses.![]()
