We have a big Sony TV. And I accidentally pushed the Power button. Not only did it turn off, but it went into Timer/Standby mode and won't come back on.
Do you guys have any solutions/suggestions on how to fix this problem?

I guess you could try unplugging and plugging it back in.

Yeah, I'd just reset it. That usually works (for me, at least).

Hold the power button in for a few seconds. That might work.
    And stay out of Riverdale!

We tried every one of those, and it still won't work.

This isn't the first time this has happened, though. Last couple of times my older sibling was able to get the TV back on, just by pressing something on the remote.

Maybe you could call either the store you bought it from to ask what's wrong with it or the company's customer service number for help.

Yeah, when all else fails, call technical support.

Do you still have the manual? There should be an 800 number you can call to ask questions. Years ago my mother accidentally removed the audio from her TV (don't ask me how) and I had to call the number to have them get it turned back on for her. Surprisingly, they were very helpful; not only did they solve the problem, but the guy even mailed me a list of codes to bypass the remote controls in case of other such accidents.
