Sure, in any given day, we can be put into many different atmospheres, or maybe just stay in the same one all day. What is or would be your Ideal atmosphere?
Myself, I really like being in a cool, dim-lit environment, other than that, I also really like depending on the mood, a restaurant that is semi-bustling with people. I really just like to watch people in any given environment.
How about the rest of you?
I should put something here. I don't know what though.

And stay out of Riverdale!
Groovy question, Verms. Oddly, while I tend to dislike sunlight, I adore bright, artificial light. It just makes things seem happier and more productive. Don't ask. Otherwise, I like a room with no lights on, but slight sunlight seeping through a window or doorway. I also like a slightly cool breeze throughout an area. Kind of like, spring day's wind. I love the wind, always have. It clears my thoughts and makes me hopeful.
I love people-watching. It's the writer in me, I always say. I'm a constant note-taker [I always have paper and pen on my person] and I love to observe. My favourite place to do that... hmm... restaurants are nifty for it, but I prefer stores. Particularly grocery or book stores. You can tell a lot about a person by what they eat or read. /nods.Originally Posted by Vermy

Somewhere like my computer room. A place that has open windows and the sunlight is so bright and warm that I can feel it on my skin. & outside I can hear people talking or laughing, too.
Or maybe at a park with really green grass. Anywhere with alot of sunshine.
My ideal atmosphere? Hmm... interesting question. I'd say a room with big windows that lets lots of sun in and I can open to let the fresh air in. I also like having light dimmers, so you can adjust the amount of the light. When I'm outside I like being under a tree in nice thick grass... it's perfect.
Dark, laid-back and with a mild bit of haze. If I owned my own jazz club, I'd be there all the time. That's the type of atmosphere I'd love to be in.
A smoothie would really hit the spot right now.
Sitting in the window of a small, but beautiful little cafe--kind of hole-in-the-wall--with my book, where I can alternate between reading and watching the world go by.
Sitting on a pier, under the full moon on a windy night with huge puffy clouds and no light polution (so that I can see the stars), listening to the ocean.
Laying flat in the grass on a windy, sunny, 70 degree day, watching the clouds drift by and thinking.
Somewhere in Tahoe, having snowball fights, building snowmen, exploring, snowboarding and coming back to a warm cabin with hot tea/chocolate/coffee and board games by a fire. Possibly movies after.
Just being anywhere, anytime with my good friends/family, having fun.
(there are a lot more, I just won't list them!)

Since imagining my ideal atmosphere would probably make me very depressed (I'm having a very bad week), I am going with ShawnHopkins' response.
