Weird News: A "Drive By Malling" or SUV Road Course!

There's an Old Driver's Education saying, If you Drink, Don't Drive.

Apparently this one 47 year old guy in Augusta, Georgia, must have fallen asleep during Driver's Ed. or maybe he wanted to practice his so called "Drive By Malling."

After getting tanked up on the usual alcohol, and having a nice angry spat with his wife, A 47 Year old Georgia man, climbed into his Mitsubishi SUV, and decided to take a trip to a nearby mall.

But rather then parking his vehicle and burning off energy, he decided to slam his foot to the floorboard, and take is SUV where no SUV has gone before.

Namely into the (Luckily) deserted mall.

after a few minutes of Driving around on the second level of the mall, and luckily avoiding things like escalators, stairs a few benchs, and some local pottery, he turned the corner and drive right across the second Level food court, ignoring tables, chairs, even trashcans, as he sped on around the mall like it was his own personal race course.

Of course after a few minutes of driving he got rather bored, and it was at this point that he decided that he would go home. So turning another corner he headed out another exit, and smashed through it without a seond thought... and straignt into the long arm of the law.

and the triple irony? Well the mall Security cameras call it all on tape.

It makes you wonder what this man's defense will be. A domestic Disturbance? Intoxication? or just plain outright insanity or stupidity.

but however this case goes down, one thing's for certain.

This guy isn't going to be driving to the local mall, anytime soon.

Sounds like to me this guy wanted to have a "Blues Brothers" experience, I gotta say though I doubt the Blues Brothers would ever drive a Mitsubishi and if the did it wouldn't be able to even juimp a bridge! Why the heck are there so many idiots out there who never get the message? "Don't drink AND Drive unless you want to pay the price!".

Well I can say this. He wasn't the first to cook up this crazy idea, nor will he be the last. After all Crazed and drunken drivers tend to do stupid things.
