I was wondering when someone would post this, considering it happened almost five hours ago now. (Around 7PM West Coast time.)

Anyway, yeah, cool. It's about time.

And now thirty people were killed in Iraq.
    This has been some success.

Great. But what I would really like to hear is all the foreign warmongers withdrawing from the country, which unfortunately won't happen for another 10 years or so if the US government doesn't undergo a mass clean-up. 1 dictator is dead, and over 100 US soldiers alone died there in this month. Ho ho ho 'tis the season to be bombin'.

I find it ironic that the country was more stable under Saddam Hussein than it is now. Maybe that's because at the time it had something called, I don't know...a GOVERNMENT.

Actually it was called a goverment that ruled with fear.. after all you stepped out of line, you got shot..(Sounds like that old skit i heard called "Russian Bandstand." You didn't like the song? You got shot. pure and simple fear works a lot better then you know when it comes to this type of so called goverment.)

Yeah, because, I dunno, most Iraqis (except the Sunnis) had no choice but to live under the Saddam's rule, or be tortured (if not killed). Doesn't sound like a better government to me, sir. Don't forget hundreds of thousands that were killed by Saddam's regime.

Actually the time around which we attacked (for whatever reason) he was pretty quiet, and actually did a whole lot more killing and terrorising about 10 years ago and in the 70's. I sympathise with the people who suffered and had their families killed, but it's obvious that it wasn't the reason why we invaded because it was a little too late. What the HELL does the US and Australia and England have to do with Iraq and Saddam? Besides the selling him weapons in the 70's. There's no good reason given for the mess we made and the fact we still don't get a good reason is reason enogh to be frustrated with our own governments.

This should sum it up for those who want to make it sound like something you saw on TV.

There once was a man named Saddam Hussein, who was President of the Iraqis. He had infamy, power, and a record of killings beyond your wild dreams! Before they hung him from the gallows, these were the final words he said: "God is Great." Ever since, People all over the world celebrate the death of this tyrant, and decide to make all their dreams come true!

In case you didn't know, it's something I came up with, inspired by the 4Kids dub of One Piece! Saddam got the Gold Roger Treatment!

For some reason, using this event in order to reference some random anime bothers me.

No one deserves to be killed, the moment the Iraqi government started murdering, they became just as bad as he is.

Maybe it's the fact that One Piece is dubbed by 4Kids, and that it's pretty much dead, before Hussein was even hung.

Although the heinous acts committed by Mr. Hussein and his regime were worthy of punishment, I can in no way find reason to celebrate the death of this once great leader. Mr. Hussein was too good for the hanging rope.
