Remember the Movie Die Hard? Where the advertisement said, Get Ready to be blown out the back of the theater?

Well Get ready to be blown out of your living Room (or maybe you'll need to go to your City/ Town Government and have your house rezoned as a Movie theater).

Because Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd of Japan (A subdivison of Panasonic Electronics) is going to release what I like to call "The Mother of all Televisions."

according to the Article, this Plasma screen TV that will start selling at the end of this yearl is larger then a Double Matress and weighs more then a Upright Piano.

I mean we're talking a Diagonal Screen that is 103 inches from Corner to corner.. The Television itself has an area of 94 inches wide by 55 inches high and weigns in at a whopping 473 pounds.

and this isn't your momma's TV either.. with a resolution of 1,920 pixels by 1,080, this meets Full High Def Standards...

So imagine watching your favorite cartoon on this baby.. I mean what's next? 3D TV?

Cryptozoology 101: The truth is real.

Friday nights on CN.. Action, Adventure, and.. Chilli Fries?

Kim Possible 2002-2007. Save the Cheerleader, Save the World. and for one brief Moment, we the fans, did save the world.

I myself have been disappointed with the downsizing of "small, medium, large" in TV set proportions ever since HDs flooded the television aisle. In the early 90's there were big screens bigger than me. (No, it's not just the fact that I was smaller coming into play here.)

I hope they get the cost (and the weight) down on that thing.

Doesn't sound like my type, either... I'd rather have a projector.

    Wait, I do.
