Ever had a winter without coming down with something?

    Like This Thread!
I can't say I have. I always pick up at least one cold during the winter season; the record was in my middle school days. I caught something every week from that hole....it made a miserable place even worse.

I thought that finally, this was going to be the year I had a sick-free winter....because due to my current situation I haven't been getting out to many places. But no....somehow...another microscopic parasite managed to get inside and start laying eggs in my blood cells. (Gee, it's disturbing to think about what it really is....)

I got the chills a mere hour ago, and had to escape into bed with my clothes on to stop shivering. Yeesh, this planet has too much life.

The seasons do not affect me at all. I was a very sickly child when I was little, got sick a lot, so now my immune system is very strong for it.
I usualy get sick about once a year, but when I get sick, I realy get sick. Most of the time my body just usualy gets a bit weak when my immune system contracts a cold or a flu, but I don't get sick. Winters don't usualy do anything for me though.

I don't think I've really been very ill since about three, or four years ago. Sometimes, I'll wake up with a sore throat but it usually goes away by the afternoon. I think the sickest I got was, I had spent a good chunk of my day laying in bed with this girl who had a cold, and I woke up the next day feeling pretty crappy. It went away before the day was over though.

I rarely get seriously ill (stuck in bed, vomiting, that sort of thing): I usually get sore throats, bad colds, maybe nausea or stomach problems.

This season I've gotten sick quite a few times.

I don't want to jinx it, but I've been doing pretty good so far this year. Otherwise, it's been every year around January.

Then again, it has been somewhat warmer, climate-wise.

I can count on two colds a year, as the weather turns cold in winter and then again as it starts to get nice and warm in spring.

Had my winter one already and it was about average. Doesn't mean I can't catch three and some times do. Last year I caught everyones cold and was sick more or less all winter. Somehow I've missed the flu for the last few years.

Usually about once every season I get a small case of the common cold that lasts for about a week but thats about it. I just got over one a few days ago so hopefully I won't get sick again for a while. I have only gotten the flu once and it was the worst time possible, during exams week.

Winter, summer, doesn't matter. The longest I've EVER gone without getting sick is five months, and this occured only once, last year. Usually I get one every 2-3.

I was sick this winter. On Christmas, actually.

My problem isn't getting colds so much as going totally batty. I spend too many hours indoors during the winter because it's usually too cold to go out.

Although never getting anything during the winter doesn't happen to me, it's not that serious: just a few sore throats.

Every winter, I usually get congested, and some winters I may get a cold.

This year, I got away scott free! For once, I got lucky.

I hope I don't jinx myself by saying this, but so far I haven't gotten sick at all this winter.

I always get one cold during the winter months...that I can deal with. Luckily, I rarely get any worse than that.

For most of middle and high school, I only got sick once per winter. I usually had bronchitis during some period of Christmas vacation. Now I usually get colds about every 3 months.

I got sick with a cold for a good two weeks at the start of January. Just when I thought I'd be getting better, BAM- total relapse. It didn't exactly help that I was taking one J-Term class during that same time. Hated that time.
