How do you use a postcard?

So, I bought a postcard that I was going to send to my friend. And I was about to address it and write a message on it when I realized that I haven't sent anybody a postcard since I was like 7. So, does the address go on the left side or the right side? And does the stamp go in the right hand corner where the price is? Postcards are standard 37 cent stamps right? That's what stamps cost now, right? 37 cents?

OK, I never expected to give instructions on how to use a postcard, but here goes:
Address on the right, text on the left. Stamp in upper right hand corner. I think it's 20 cents to mail a postcard. It's definately less than 37 cents, but a 37 cent stamp will work.

Oh, ****, well, I already put it in the mail without a return address. There probably wasn't enough room to put my return address on the left side anyway since my message was so large. Do you think they'll deliver it without a return address?

So, for some reason, I managed to misplace my stamps and it took me like an hour to find them, so I missed my bus, now I won't be able to go to the grocery store today. Man, those damn stamps really ruined my day. I found them right in between a stack of envelopes. I had looked underneath the envelopes several times, but they were actually in between them so I actually had to sort through them individually to find them. What a pain.

Since I was running out of food, I decided to go to McDonald's for lunch. I try to avoid fast food for the most part, but it seems clear from the stamp incident that God clearly wanted me to eat fast food today.
