Hi Toon Zone. Some of you may remember me as a regular poster from a while back. I really enjoyed my time on the boards, and I got to know some really wonderful people. It's been almost a year since I stopped posting regularly, and I stopped posting without any real explanation, which I regret. I feel like I really should have said something (even if it was only to a few people) when I realized I wasn't going to be stopping by regularly. So, for that, I apologize.

That said, my story (in brief), goes something like this: I started my Freshman year of college last fall and absolutely loved it. I was happier there than I think I have ever been in my (relatively short) life. At that time, I was still posting on TZ, but a lot less frequently, as I was a lot busier (and I didn't have an access to a TV and therefore wasn't too useful on conversations about the latest cartoons).

It wasn't until winter came that I stopped posting completely. That was because some old problems of mine (which I won't go into, for several reasons) resurfaced and ended up taking a pretty serious toll on me. By spring, things had pretty much fallen apart completely, and I had to end the semester early to come home and attempt to get a hold of the situation, and myself, once again.

Sadly, the situation is still at a point where I'm not ready to go back to school yet. Without this to look forward to, it’s a lot harder to keep on keepin’ on. I went from what was probably the happiest time in my life to what is one of, if not the, worst time, in less than a year's time.

The point to this story, is that I got to thinking about the friends and good times I had on Toon Zone before all this started, and regretted not having kept up with the boards. So, during this not-so-great time, I figure it would be best to spend it among great people. I look forward to becoming a part of the community again (that is, of course, if you’ll have me ).

usually i'd have no problem with advertising because most people in the simpsons community are fans of all the mainly focused shows. But I made sub-forums in the "other toons" board for categories like Anime, Marvel, Disney etc, and will probably add more, but we're maybe looking for mods, heck just even hardcore fans of those categories to keep them alive.

Greetings all Just wanted to be polite and say hi to everyone . I am relatively new to the whole comics thing, and my visit here was inspired by my new found obsession with Justice League. I am looking forward to hearing others thoughts not just on that series, but also the rich history behind it all.
