Single and though I realize high school relationships rarely pan out, I would like to have gone on a date before my senior year ends. I really hate it when my friends talk to me about their romantic lives, but, being the nice person that I am, I grind my teeth and smile and listen.

hhmm...so now after looking at the results at two message boards I think it is fair of me to conclude that more single people are bound to post on online forums than those in a relationship.
How can a relationship make that much of a difference...?

The day I find a girl who doesn't respond to a long speech on the joys of Looney Tunes with the words " I like Tweety, she's pretty cool", Then I'll know I've found my match.

And I have officially heard that response 4 times, right down to calling Tweety a "she", shows how much they watch the cartoons

I am single, but am willing. The problem I have to deal with is the universally-proven college curve.

Entering college freshman males do not get noticed by the females on campus. When the said males are at least a later year sophmore, they get noticed by people and their popularity increases as the years go by and they become the big guys in their senior year.

Entering college freshman females get all of the attention and are treated like royalty (in a certain sense). Their popularity curve is inversely proportional to the males. By their senior year, if they do not have a boyfriend, then they are untouchables.

Of course their are some exceptions like athletes, but whatever.

You're incredebly oberservant, no? Seriously though, the freshmen coed girls seem to have the biggest social life. These girls get around, man. I, of course, am the great exception; being the me-dweller that I am, I prefer to *jeeringly* watch the insanity that is people. Especially of those that have relationships! Just the other morning (4-5 AM to be exact) I listened to a phone conversation outside of my room with a guy trying to convince some girl not to commit suicide because her boyfriend left her. These crazy animals and their "love"... :anime:

I agree with you on that. I am dating a college freshmen. Its my second year in college, and my first year i had no luck.
