    Any good extensions for Firefox?

    Like This Thread!
I finally broke down and decided to try out Firefox instead of IE and I must say it's loads better. But I've been looking around Mozilla's site and saw this thing about plugins and extensions. I was wondering what any of you guys would recommend...

There is the Adblock feature, it blocks out the anoying ads and popups.
ForcastFox puts the weather on the status bar at the botom of your browser.
Googlebar or the official Google Toolbar for Firefox puts a google toollbar to your other toolbars.
SpoofStick shows you the real web address you are at, so you will not get fooled (spoffed) into thinking it a legid site when its a copy or a fake.
BugMeNot lets you access those websites like NYTimes.com which requires a free registration to view the content.
Gmail Notifier tells you if you have any mail in your Gmail account.
Whois? gives you basic whoIs? tracking utilities that help to track a spesific IP or a web address.
DictionarySearch lets you look up selected words on the internet to find out their meaning.

Oh and you must get the best ever theme (skin). Its called Noia 2.0 (eXtreme). It is the best, has most features and is the most comftable to use.

In addition to the great ones that solarflere's recommended, I'd suggest the Stumbleupon Toolbar, which lets you click a button to go to sites recommended by other people with similar interests ... it doesn't necessarily SOUND all that neat but it's highly addictive and a great way to find all sorts of sites you never knew existed ...

I just want to echo the Adblock with Filterset G updater. I can't remember the last time I saw a banner ad.

    Two others I use:

Tweak Network 1.1 (optimizes Firefox settings based on the speed/power of your PC and your bandwidth speed)

CookieCuller (Extended cookie manager) You can select cookies to permanantly keep, such as login cookies. Used in conjuction with FF's cookie managment. If you select "delete all cookies on exit" CC will override that and retain all protected cookies you flagged. Very helpful!]

Also, you may want to think about customizing the search engines available to you (right hand side of the browser). I added Wikipedia, which I have since found indespensible.
Who are you going to believe, me or your own eyes?
