    This is a stupid question, but... how do you post a desktop image? Is it the same as if you would post a pic in the photo thread, or what?

    In windows, typically you press the "Print Screen" (Prntscrn) key. This copies an image of whatever is on your monitor at the time to the clipboard. From here you can press ctvl+v or edit>paste in Paint or any other imaging program. Save, and upload to a webserver such as Photobucket.
