That's pretty cool! So how did that first pic ever start getting around? Actually, even tho it was all a hoax, it was a pretty amazing feat, I must say. I doubt any picture I doctored up on my computer would get that much attention!

There was famous hoax photograph that circulated right after the WTC bombings that showed this guy posing atop the WTC, and right behind was one of the airplanes zooming in. Supposedly this was a photo which showed the plane just before the moment of impact, and which survived the fire and collapse.

The guy in the photo was dubbed "tourist guy" on the internet, and there was all sorts of speculation about who he was, and if he had anything to do with the hoax. He has apparently come forward (without identifying exactly who he is, except to say that he's Hungarian).

It was a pretty interesting hoax, but I'm surprised that it's gone on for so long. touristguy.com? Weird...

The pic of him with the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man was funny.

That's pretty cool, especially seeing the original photos of him up there. That must have been an amazing view. I just wish I had gotten a chance to see the towers, but I've never been to New York.
