Toons on DVD!!!
I grew up with many cartoon shows and would love to see them released on DVD (even though I don't have a DVD player!) Mostly, even though this probably isn't for the right board, I want He-Man and She-Ra episodes released!!! Why hasn't Hallmark done anything with the show? I know it's old school now but old school is in!!! It goes without saying that I want to see BTAS, TAoB+R and TNBA released on DVD as well as STAS. How about Wonder Woman? Lois and Clark? Sure they were live action, but they were classic! Why doesn't Warner Bros. do a "SuperHeroes" video pack featuring a mix of Flash, Lois and Clark and Wonder Woman episodes? I really want to see more She-Ra too...

Actually, it may be on the horizons. The new head of WBA hasn't hid the fact that he loves animaiton and wants to see all the classic WB and HB animation released on VHS/DVD. I wouldn't be suprised if a DVD of Superfriends happens.

Superfriends revival
There has been a great renewed interest in Superfriends lately, with the re runs on Boomerang and the new book collection from DC, but I haven't heard of any DVD release. Unfortunately, I have learned that a renewed interest in a franchise doesn't mean DVD releases of the original cartoons. That's not to say Superfriends won't make it to DVD, but I was greatly disappointed that the Rocky and Bullwinkle movie DVD didn't usher in old episodes of the cartoon series to be relesed on DVD.
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.

I'm surpised more companies don't take advantages of these cross promotion. WB would release various episodes of Batman on video whenever a new movie came out. You think this practice would be more in use. I betcha that we'll see more darn SCOOBY-DOO vids when them movie comes out.

Yeah, Scooby Doo already floods the market and I already know WB has more DVD releases planned. Makes you wanna get mad when they are flooding the market with that schlop and your favorites aren't getting put out!
It is amazing to me that for as much as DVD has boomed in the last couple years, there is still a long way to go. The cross promotions are a great point of how studios still don't really promote the format.

I think VHS is still considered the dominant format, which it is. Although that makes me wonder why the VHS versions of movies are released six month after the DVDs are released (for most companies, like Paramount) I would just like to see some more Batman DVDs, as would the million other Batman fans. Also, no snapper case...but that's another thread for another board.
