July 22nd, 2003: What did you get this week?

This week's releases include further volumes of Batman: The Animated Series and Superfriends, Final Destination 2, a limited edition re-release of Brain Damage, The Life of David Gale, a second season box set of Felicity, and ...But I'm a Cheerleader.

I plan on picking up Final Destination 2, and I'm leaning towards snagging Brain Damage while I'm at it.

All I got this week was Batman: Out of the Shadows. I had to go to 9 different stores to find it.

Next on my "must own" list is Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and The Simpsons Season 3. I need a job.

I was actually going to pick up all of these releases, but I couldn't find the Dane Cook CD/DVD and the other two were only available for full price!?! I did pick up the new Justice League disc, but it looks like I'll have to order the others on Amazon.

I picked up Batman:OOTS, Superfriends:UTS, Justice League:PL and finally bought a copy of Wrestlemania 19(it was impossible to find).

I bought the 3-disc Japanese/English dual layered set of Berserk and I bought The Evil Dead DTS verison.

The next DVD I plan on buying is Ninja Scroll 10th Anniversry Edition and I also want to get all of FLCL sometime. Im also addicited to Samurai Deeper Kyo now so volume 2 is a must have for me.

Megaman: Battle for the Future (season 2) DVD set.

I finally got around to picking this set up like I've been meaning to for about 6 months. Everything on here is done very well. Would've been nice if it was a box set with 3 full size cases but this is OK. Chalk ADV up as another company that should've gotten TransFormers.

I picked up Final Destination 2 - an entertaining movie and possibly better than the first. Overall there didn't seem to be a lot released this past week that really interested me and I decided not to pick up the BTAS in favor of continuing my Columbia House releases. Still possibility of picking up JL: Paradise Lost but not very likely.

Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Platinum Edition--I got the last copy from my local store!
