    Swordfish DVD Debuts New Label

    Like This Thread!
The DVD Swordfish will debut a new warning label, the first of it's kind:

    CONTENT ADVISORY: Terrorists

It is expected the warning wil be modified before being put on Swordfish DVD. It is expected to be ON the packaging and not on the plastic wrap.

Wacky. Still, warning people about the content is better than taking it out.

A more appropriate label would be:

WARNING: Yet another bad John Travolta movie.
    Robert Evatt

You read it... you can't un-read it!

I think we'll be seeing alot more of these labels in the near future. MPAA ratings have already gotten abit out of hand with all that text they have besides and under the rating to explain why it got that rating.

Oh man, they're putting the warning on the package itself?? Why can't they just attach a sticker to the wrapping like they do for all those CDs with "parental advisory"s or whatever it is.

I was going to buy this DVD too. Now I'm gonna have to think about it.

You'd consider not buying a DVD because of a warning sticker on it? I doubt the warning sticker is any larger than the bar code, come on...

Also, the label will be on the back. There WILL be a sticker label on the fron - but on the wrap. I think the other warning label will be on the back. For some reason, the T label will appear only in Blockbuster versions and WB thinks this is some sorta conspiracy against them.

Oh, I guess I was mistaken. I thought the warning was gonna be a big spiked circle on the front with a warning inside, but if it's just a small thing on the back (or only on Blockbuster versions), then it's all good.

To Mad Hatter: I thought it was one of Travolta's better movies. After "Battlefield: Earth" and "Lucky Numbers", how can you criticize this movie?

Don't remind me of Battlefeild:Earth. Man - that movie reeked! He's had some better stuff I'll give him that.
