My position as the Unofficial WWE Mod has now officially expanded to the DVD Discussion board!
WWE No Way Out will be released on DVD on Tuesday, making it the second release in the 2003 World Wrestling Entertainment Pay-Per-View collection. Information will be updated in this thread as it becomes available and you can follow the link in my signature (WWE on DVD) to check it out.
This year if you purchase all 12 PPV events and send in the enclosed proof of purchases you get a free storage case! When put together, the spines of all 12 events will form the year "2003" with various Superstars in and around the numbers. It should be cool. Talk about the event DVDs and any other WWE releases you get the remainder of this year right here!

Man, I still need to get up to date on the 2002 releases!
I'm still crossing my fingers that they make at least one DVD this year to put to use all that WCW footage they have.
Now normally I won't bump the thread up just for a DVD cover, but this is WrestleMania!
Here it is...
I have to say I'm a little disappointed with the cover. I don't think anyone can deny that the match with the most story behind it was Hogan vs. McMahon, but I just don't know that it deserves the whole cover. The poster for the event was excellent and I was hoping they would use that (go to the top post and click on WM's "talkback" to see what I mean).
Ah well.

That cover is just awful. Why are Hogan and McMahon the main focus on it? I agree with Penguin that they should of just used the poster, or even the wallpaper that you could download for it off the wrestlmania website.
I don't really care about the Wrestlemania poster. 14 featured HBK, Austin, and Tyson, because it was a true must-see match. This one was too.
Has anyone received Desert Heat yet? I can't stand buy.com. The price was relatively cheap, but they don't even have it yet. It's on order? This thing was released last week! Grrrr.
Later.
I'm still planning on "reviewing" my Rumble and No Way Out DVDs here hoping you'll do the same but one thing is bothering me and I can't wait to ask it.
This is mainly for those of you who either bought No Way Out or know someone who did.
I opened up my case and I didn't get an insert.Granted in WWE they usually just list the matches again, but I'd hate to think that my DVD is missing something.
Let me know WWE fans.
Thanks.

Well, maybe it should have. There's a reason that company went out of business. Why do they call that move it 619 it never even had a name in WCW!!!

Rey Mysterio's hometown is San Diego, CA. 619 is a San Diego area code. I like the name, as well as the West Coast Pop.Originally Posted by Spike Mcdougal

I know this is off topic but I have a question about the June PPV. Is it entitled King of the Ring or Badd Blood? Did they get rid of King of the Ring? I'm just asking cause tickets go on sale here in Houston for Badd Blood for June 15.

Penguin asked:
Sorry, no... I do plan on buying it EVENTUALLY though. However, my wrestling DVD budget is pretty much exhausted after that buying spree I went on to snatch up all the WWF DVDs I wanted before they permanently went off the market (damn Wildlife Fund lawsuit).Soooo, any of you fellas know the answer to my DVD question?
When I get some funds again, I'll probably buy No Way Out, Mania 19, and Backlash. I'll skip the Rumble though, and all the PPVs after Backlash. IMO, they're not worth the money unless the Rock is on the card. Actually, I might buy a Rock-less PPV if it involved Goldberg beating Triple H for the title in under a minute. That would be sweet...
Char Aznable asked:
I think Badd Blood is replacing King of the Ring. In other words, no KotR in 2003. Hopefully they'll still do the tournament, but on free TV instead. Why blow a chance to elevate somebody?I know this is off topic but I have a question about the June PPV. Is it entitled King of the Ring or Badd Blood? Did they get rid of King of the Ring?
Anyway, you still might want to skip the PPV, though, since it is supposedly going to be RAW ONLY! No Smackdown matches. I don't know what the heck they're thinking with that one...

Well the RAW brand is my favorite of the two. I believe SmackDown! matches won't occur cause they have less superstars on their roster than RAW does. I really hate this stupid draft!

Hello, my friends and fellow wrestling fans. Does WWE put out any dvds of 80's wrestling?
I'm contributing the "Silver Surfer Rebooted" fanfic to the Marvel Rebooted website.
Check out Guttertown Massive on Facebook and Tubmblr.
Well they don't in a sense like "The Best of the 80s" or anything like that. The best you're going to get is when highlights from the 80s are worked into a Superstar spotlight DVD. Like the Hulk Hogan DVD for example.Originally Posted by Mattashell
