GREAT new feature on the new Robotech box set!

I just got the second set in the Robotech box set series, and I am thrilled to death to see a great bonus feature on the third disc...TOY COMMERCIALS! The ORIGINAL toy commercials! While it may not be the dream feature of having the original commercials on the DVD that sponsored the show originally, and are more than likely toy commercials for Robtech toys, this is still a way cool feature I wish they would put on more animation DVDs.

    Heh, heh. COOL!

I can't wait for the Southern Cross saga, and later, the hard-to-find Mospeada saga. I gave Mospeada the short shrift when I was young because it wasn't as grandiose as Macross or as tension-filled as the best Southern Cross episodes. It seemed more relentlessly bleak, which I wasn't ready for at the time.

I also can't wait for the subsequent series to be released. I loved them all, but for different reasons. For anyone willing to spend some money on incredible new Robotech toys or DVD collections, check out Robotech.com (I think)or whatever the official website is. There is a ton of really cool Robotech stuff there. The new toys are incredible and the video and DVD collections are very impressive. I think the DVD sets might come with interviews with Carl Macek, creator of Robotech (merger of the 3 totally seperate Japanese animation series into one impressive storyline).
