    The Goonies!

There are few DVDs that I buy the day they come out, but this was one of them. I watched this movie about 20,000 times as kid, and it's one of the DVDs I'd been wishing for since I got my first player (Superman and Back to the Future are two others). Is anyone else as inexplicably drawn to this movie as I am?

Yes, I've always loved "The Goonies." I watch it almost every time it comes on TV, it just has an appeal to it, I guess.

I bought Batman too, but I haven't had time to watch it yet. I think the Goonies commentary is one of the most entertaining ones I've heard. I especially like how Corey Feldman keeps making an ass of himself! But where they heck did the guy that played Mikey disappear to halfway through? He never got to say that thing about Cyndi Lauper.

Speaking of Cyndi Lauper, it was a really treat to get the "Goonies R Good Enough" video on the DVD. I used to love wrestling, and it was great to see all those old guys like Iron Shiek, Roddy Piper, Fabulous Moolah and the russian guy (I forgot is name).

Yeah..I know..I have no idea what happened to him..I'm gonna keep checking around Goonie sites and see what pops up.

As for Cindi Lauper..I haven't watched the music video yet..I just watched the commentary on the Batman DVD today..good stuff..

What thing would "Mikey" have said about Cyndi Lauper had he not disappeared?
