Hey, don't be too quick to fault it! I've been hoping for web animation on DVD! So it had to start with Eminem, but it's at least a start! I hope it sells well (you know, I might actually buy this myself!) so it opens the door for other web animation on DVD>

Love him or hate him, I am just glad web animation is coming out on the format. If this does open the door for web animtion on DVD, we could see a whole lot more...and better...releases to come. Take the cartoons on MTV Downloads, for example. Many of those were awesome, and should be on DVD. I will buy this DVD, not because I am a huge fan of his, tho I do like some of his songs, but beacause I also love the format and the material. Kinda like the X Files set. Even if you hated that show, you had to appreciate the fact that the set was made available and that the success of the set opened up doors for other TV shows, TV shows you may like, to come out on DVD. So all I am saying is even if you don't like the release, if it's new material or its trying to do something different, then I say it's a good thing

I doubt this will encourage animation... it'll just encourage pop stars to put out self-indulgent DVDs. I base this on the reaction to Shrek... the lesson seemingly learned by the studio execs isn't "Hey! Animation really can be made for adults!", it's "Hey! CGI stuff is inherently cool!" Note the recent kiddification of Ice Age.

I'm now curious about the SUPERMAN webisodes that were supposed to be release don DVD in March. WB just forgot about that I suppose. They did just order 40 more eps.

I despise Eminem with all my being. This is one DVD I won't be purchasing.

Oh, I hadn't heard about the Superman web animated episodes being put out on DVD. Who did those?

I wonder if WB would ever release those GOTHAM GIRLS flash episodes to DVD. WHile they ain't great, they'd be a nice treat.
