I finally added The Iron Giant special edition DVD to my collection.

I picked up the Family Guy Star Wars dvd. It's frustrating cause for the price that I've now paid for all three of the dvds, I could've just picked up the three pack for like 1/2 the price.

No one gets a cookie for guessing which two new animation releases I picked up today:
    Family Guy: It's a Trap (blu-ray)
    Futurama volume 5 (blu-ray)

My local FYE is closing unfortunately and they were blowing out DVDs at 10-50% off. I picked up:
    MST3K: volume XIV
    MST3K: volume XV
    MST3K: volume XVIII
It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie
    Muppet Christmas Carol

That's the single disc with 4 or so episodes of Goof Troop right?

I snagged The Jetsons Season 1 at Walmart for 20 buck then whilel doing some last minute Christmas shopping I found some great deals at FYE.

The Flintstones Season 2 for 11.99

Frisky Dingo Season 1 for 8.99

Frisky Dingo Season 2 for 8.99

Pinky and the Brain Box Set 3 for 23.99

P&TB is just kind of hard to come by and anything less than 40 is a good deal for that but man a whole season of The Flintstones for 12 bucks and all of Frisky Dingo for 20? I couldn't resist.

Actually, three. The fourth Goof Troop episode on DVD comes with A Goofy Movie, which I have yet to pick up.

Oh it was 3. Quack Pack got the same. I'd add both those volumes to my Disney cartoon collection if I found them for a decent price but 3 episodes on DVD now is just laughable. It's laughable for new cartoon with high quality visuals and large video files to be 3 per disc but for a 90s show that's just pathetic on Disney's part. The things we buy for our love of cartoons right?

I should get A Goofy Movie. I recently saw part of it again and remembered how much I enjoyed it.

The thing that makes absolutely no sense, in regards to the Goof Troop DVD, is that it came out right around the same time DuckTales, Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers, etc. were all getting their volume sets with at least 20+ episodes a piece. I don't understand how and why they dropped the ball so hard on the Goof Troop set. It almost feels like a VHS release.

...on another note, I had no idea Quack Pack was actually on DVD (albeit in a similar bare-bones release). I'll have to keep an eye out for that, if I can find it at a good price.

So question time: what's with that unassembled box that's attached to the back of the Futurama volume 5 packaging?
