"Home Alone 2" Coming to Blu-ray!

Ah, this is loooooooong overdue. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York is coming to Blu-ray on 10/6/09. We've had that non-anamorphic, bare bones release from 1999 for so long, and I'll definitely buy this to replace my old VHS fullscreen copy.

2's the only one I don't have (I have th e'Family Fun Edition' of 1, and 3 and 4), and I refuse to pay 14.99 for a barebones version, since that's the cheapest price I can find. I'm hoping they come out with a special edition DVD of that one someday.

This is good news.I hope they do a bundle ,with both 1 and 2 sometime soon.

Do you have the first one on blu-Ray ? If so is it worth owning ?

I don't, but from what I can tell, it's essentially the same as the Family Fun Edition DVD, only with better video quality, obviously. Here's a good summary of the special features on the HA1 FFE.
