Looking through Best Buy's return policy, you should be fine as long as you return it in 30 days.
Hello there
Well, today I went to best buy to pick up some dvd's, and unfortunatly, I do not like the dvd, because well, I realize that there is a part 2, a movie, and much more that I would need to collect to finish the series, and well, it's not worth the effort for the show that it is.
Anyhow, I was wondering how this would work, I didnt open the dvd package, ( the plastic wrap is still on it ) and I have the receipt, would I still be able to return the dvd and get my money back? or would I have to return it for the same dvd?
Also, if your thinking to yourself "Just read the receipt you n00b" well, I did read the reciept, and it doesn't really make anything clear on "dvd returns".
That's why im asking.
Looking through Best Buy's return policy, you should be fine as long as you return it in 30 days.

If the shrinkwrap isn't broken, then they should accept the return (with receipt) without hassle. It's only when you open the DVD and try to return will they say "no" (or they'll only give you a replacement of the same title if there's something wrong with it).

Some stores will offer credit for returned goods. They are usually less picky with DVDs than they are with CDs, for obvious reasons.
