Can you remove stuff from DVDs?

I was wondering if there is a way to remove stuff you don't like out of DVDs. Can that be done on a computer, or can it be done with those CDrw devices?

As in, if there's a scene with nudity that you find offensive, can you trim it out yourself from the DVD itself? No.

No, I mean features that you either find stupid, or unnecessary. Stuff you wish wasn't included. This has nothing to do with nudity.

I suppose if you knew all about DVD file structure and things of that sort, you could rip the contents to a harddrive, remove whatever, and write a DVD-R of the new version. Why not simply ignore the stuff, on the original, you don't care about? It's not like you have to watch it.

You could simply not view them.

    That's the easiest solution.
