Yes! Night on Earth in the Criterion Collection? Soon as I get back from vacation that one's totally going in my library.

On Any Sunday...is that different from Any Given Sunday? Are they sequels? Those titles are way too similar. Why not pick another day of the week? Like Wednesday. Nobody makes films about Wednesdays.

It's a not especially well-known but very respected documentary on motorcycle racing from '71.

As for DVDs set on Wednesdays, I can think of one :

Quick Warning to those buying RC Season 2

On the episode "Veggies for Sloth", The Final Destination Archie sketch has been removed from the DVD, like the B&B sketch last season..

Today non-anime wise, I purchased The Office Season Three Limited Edition Gift Set w/Dundy Award, Dwight Bobblehead, and Welcome to Dunder/Mifflin Letter, Robot Chicken Season Two Uncensored, and Resident Evil: Resurrected Two-Feature Pack w/Movie and Concession Cash. The Office sets were selling like crazy today, and they will probably be gone sometime tomorrow. I'll feel kind of bad for the people who don't get it later this week, but to get something "Limited Edition", it's definitely best to be there the first day.

It was actually a few days ago, but I bought "The Muppet Show: The Complete Second Season" for my mom's birthday gift. It's nice to see that this one really is complete, too (no deleted musical numbers due to lack of song rights like on the Season 1 DVD).

I didn't get anything that was a new release, but I did buy cheapie copies of Alien and In the Line of Fire at Best Buy this week.

Alien, because I haven't seen it in ages -- and never in its entirety, and In The Line of Fire just because I've always liked that movie....although I don't know why.

Incidentally, my Best Buy had the Director's Cut copy of Alien on sale for $9.99...in case anyone wants and doesn't have.

Here's what I picked up this week:

    Tokko Vol. 1
    She-Ra: Season 2
    Chill Out, Scooby-Doo
    Mission: Magic--Complete Series

That's all for this week. Next week, I plan on getting Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends: Season 2 and Tom & Jerry Spotlight Collection Vol. 3.
    Best Kim Possible Dialogue:
    Kim(to Ron): You're weird.
    Ron(embarrassed) Kim.
    Kim: Shhh. I like weird.

    Most Memorable Winx Club Dialogue:
Dark Bloom: Why don't you fight?! Or is it because I'm more powerful than the five of you combined?!

Flora(furious at the Trix for hurting Rose): SHE WAS MY SISTER!!!!!

Not a new release, but I got it this week:
    -The Moon-Spinners

I saw this movie on Disney Channel a loooooong time ago (back when they still aired Vault Disney on late-nights), and I enjoyed it and have been searching it on DVD for a while. Glad I got it (that and E7 Vol.9 didn't come out this week)

I'm going to buy Benny Chan's "Invisible Targets" starring Nicholas Tse (Gen-X Cops), Shawn Yue (Infernal Affairs) and Jaycee Chan (Jackie Chan's son). I plan to buy the 3 disc DVD set coming Friday.

Did they sell out that quickly? I know that we sold out within twenty-four hours of 30 Rock Season One, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Seasons One and Two, and Robot Chicken Season Two Uncensored. It's a good week for television shows. I'm hoping that for the Season Three Robot Chicken DVD set, however, that we get the skits that were taken out of the Season One and Season Two sets. Viacom and Archie need to grow up and let people have a complete set. Season Two isn't "uncensored" if something is removed.
