    HECK YEAH.

I have a pretty good feeling that Warner Home Video will start releasing TTA on DVD, if not in 2007, then in 2008 (18 years after the show started).

According to a recent WHV chat (with their Animation/TV show division), they are evaluating the possibility of releasing Tiny Toons on DVD. I'd imagine we might see it on DVD soon.
Zim: "I thought the Tallest killed you."
Skoodge "Yeah, but I'm all right now."
Mad Jack the Pirate: "You were DEAD! How do you get better from being DEAD, you Scottish twit?!??"

There are at least two episodes that wouldn't make the release (or be heavily redone), and that's the two TTTV music video episodes. They'd have a ton of songs to clear to get those two episodes out.

Tiny Toons deserves DVD treatment as much as The Animaniacs or Pinky and the Brain. It wouldn't make sense for the show to remain in the darkness forever. I have a feeling the DVD's will come. We'll just have to wait for that time to finally arrive.

There is a point, moreover, at which the unfortunate and the infamous are associated and confounded in a single word, a fatal word - Les Miserables; whose fault is it? And then, is it not when the fall is lowest that charity ought to be greatest?- Victor Hugo, Les Miserables

WHV will likely finish Pinky & The Brain and Animaniacs DVDs sometime in '07. I see Taz-Mania and especially Tiny Toon Adventures as potential replacements for that void in the release schedule. If they don't release Pinky, Elmira and The Brain (though I hope they do), then they could pair one replacement with the final Animaniacs set to ease us into the change.

You would think that with the success of Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain on dvd, they would release Tiny Toons on dvd to. Its just as loved as those cartoons.
