No UK Bandai DVDs?
Why don't Bandai sell anime DVDs in the UK? There's some they're selling in the US (the Gundam series) that I'd really like to get. But for some reason, we don't have them here. Is there any chance of the American ones working on a Region 2 player?

I don't think they'll work on a region 2 player unless you've modified it (the player)
As far as I've heard a lot of Japanese anime producers are tough bargainers as far as licensing for different regions. I think there's a lot of discussion about these topics on AnimeOnDVD.COM's message boards

Incase you don't know, the UK barely has any anime at all, most anime we got was Manga Entertainment titles and some ADV titles as well.
However anime seems to be making a slight comeback in the UK (though I'm not sure comeback is the right word for it) with the unedited and uncut English dub of Gundam Wing currently out on video in the UK and some anime films (Akira, Castle Of Cagliostro and Golgo 13) coming to DVD as well.

Only the video version of Wing?
Nuts. Hopefully we'll get DVD version. But I still might buy these VHS versions if I can get to see the uncut version
