I've found this offer at my local Wal-Mart and Zellers here in Canada as well (only its $20, which is the CDN equivalent).
Guess FOX is trying a new strategy to get more ppl hooked on season sets. Works for me.

Note to self: No More Heroes avatar in use since April 10/2009. Previous avatar lasted 2 years, 9 months and 4 days!!! Holy Stale Avatar Batman!!
Hmm... crap, all my money's going to anime :/
Maybe if I get some extra cash...
I bought two copies of 24. I could only think of one person to give a copy to as a Christmas present, but darn it! I couldn't pass up a second copy! I gotta know someone I can give it to!Or maybe I can sell it on ebay and get me a copy of season 2.

That's an amazing price, especially for 24, Roswell, Buffy and Angel. That is 75% off right?
I just bought KOTH (dunno why) and Roswell for the free shipping deal.

Meh, I have Simpsons, Futurama, King of the Hill, and the other shows don't really interest me enough to buy. So......

Same. I wouldn't mind having the first season of Buffy, since I've only seen afew episodes, and it seems to be popular enoughOriginally Posted by Speedy Boris

However I just picked up Good Times season 2 for $6.99, and with 24 episodes of 1970's goodness, I'm set for tv shows for awhile.

I'm half tempted to pick up 24 & Roswell... tho I've not seen either. thoughts on them?Originally Posted by EinBebop

Don't you people understand!?!

since you asked.
"He lived hard and died stupid."
You misspelled Sports Night.
That being said I did utilize this to pick up a copy of 24 for my sister for Christmas.
I echo EinBebop; 24 is definetely one of my favorite shows. It goes beyond being a gimmick show and actually has a great storyline. So get it.
The only thing I want in this sale that I don't already have is Simpsons S1, which I'll probably get. On a related note I'm sad that the only Futurama set I've bought is Vol. 1. =(
It recently dawned on me that my signature could be interpreted as being said by me. For the record, this was not the case. If the previous signature reduced your opinion of me, please increase your opinion. Thank you.
Movieguy, the KOTH season 1 set is done really well. You'll like it even if you hate KOTH. "So, you thought you were watching this DVD? Wrong, pal...it's watching YOU!!"
Yeah, the only thing on there I don't have that I will have someday is Simpsons Season 1. That's iffy....

Yeah, I've seen a few episodes this year and wasn't too crazy about it. Maybe if I watch from the beginning I'll understand it better.Originally Posted by Martianinvader

Amen to that. I watched two episodes a day and then stayed up through the night and watched the last 8 straight. Not once did I even think about how tired I was.Originally Posted by Terminatah

Nothing worth buying, except for the simpsons, which I aint gonna buy. How about the new Cedric the Entertainer Presents DVD, but that JUST came out.
24 is a more-or-less definite.
Buffy or Angel are my maybes...

I watched the entire season in like two or three days. It felt like I was going through the day with Jack, which is a feeling that is impossible to duplicate now that I watch it weekly as it airs. But maybe the new schedule will help ease my pain (no breaks in the weeks, 2-hour premiere, 2-hour special midseason event, 2-hour finale).Originally Posted by The Penguin
Oh, and Colin. Don't watch the upcoming season 4 (this January on Fox) until you've seen the first three seasons in order. You'll ruin some masterful storylines for yourself.

I'm picking up Futurama; I've been waiting for the perfect time to start collecting that series.

That's a lot of 24 to watch in eight weeks. Not that it would be a hard feat once you get started.Originally Posted by Terminatah
I don't think this coming season will spoil too much. What with there not being any co-stars, we may be starting more or less fresh.
