Anyway, what happened to the Cartoon Network forum? I guess the regulars from 2010 and such have left though I didn't think it would be as barren as it is. :S Looking around, it seems that a lot of this board is that way? Or maybe the new term is taking its toll and it's just a coincidence. It's just weird is all from my point of view since this place has always been mega active and stuff. hehe

The spirit of a dead dog who was kicked too many times, Holy Wreath (technically Holy_Wreath but whatever) was once a loyal follower of the legendary No One Gives a Crap, she decided to start trolling sometime before anyone gave a damn about her. No One Gives a Crap got fed up with her though and kicked her out of the house mainly because she was unfunny and her opinions were terrible. She found her way to GameFAQs where anyone with half a brain realizes how unfunny she is. /kayfabe

Anyway, Holy Wreath is a terrible troll and anyone who falls for such a troll should feel bad for themselves. Basically, she poses like a guy on the web and pretends to only like “manly games” even though there is no such thing as a manly game. We theorize she tells herself that because she wants to appear male to seduce fellow terrible troll ValcristPL. She would probably have a better chance if she actually stopped acting like a dude because he’s not gay. She’s seemingly doesn’t like Jewish people or people with big noses. I can’t recall which at the moment but she has attacked people for their big noses. Probably because of the kayfabe. Not much else is known about her mainly because no one should pay attention to her. Oh, her trolling tactic is to call you by the opposite gender. Are you a girl on the web? “G.i.r.l!!!!” (Guy in real life or something). Are you a guy on the web? “Girl!!!!” (As in, you’re a girl). Don’t fall for it now because you’re only forcing her not to improve to anything half-decent.

Finals are coming up for me and other college students. I know some people have already started in November in California but I'm starting in a week or two. I'm ready for this though. I've actually been paying attention this semester so I don't think that I'll do poorly this. Maybe I might ace it. :blossom: Well, I probably won't but maybe I will. As long as their is a chance. :sweat: Thankfully, I get a month and a half break so it isn't all bad. Hopefully the end of the world won' spoil it for me and the rest of us. XP

I really like Vernikova. Vernikova is an accurate representation of how I really am. I think it’s settled then. No more pretending on the internet. I’m tired of pretending to be someone else. Zvonareva is a person that is bored most of the day. She starts her classes early in the morning and finishes earlier than her other friends. Thus, she has to wait a while for them to finish their classes and then wait for them to complete their work. As a result, this causes her to stay at home for most of the day until late at night when she finally gets together with her friends to do dumb stuff until early in the morning. Then the cycle repeats. Of course, she needed to find something to do and she decided to expand her interests for future “fun.” “Fun” being a plethora of things that I’m too lazy to list. So she joined GameFAQs to vote in the polls that were going on at the time. They really didn’t talk to each other. Fast forward a few months, and she captured the attention of Prishe and Terra Branford. The two biggest people on that board mainly because they’re non-mortals. After much hard work on her part, Prishe and Terra Branford promoted her to low-non-mortal status. Grateful for this, Zvonareva decided to start a survival guide for GameFAQs nubs. Prishe and Terra Branford both approve of the idea.

Kayfabe over. In reality, everything up until “fast forward” bit is not kayfabe. She’s really just a bored girl these days. She’s also a total ***** in real life that pretends to be nice online. She’s not one of the television show “popular or get out” types. She’s an “I hate you unless I like you” types. Note: she likes practically everyone to some degree. it's hard to get her to hate you though she will always be condescending to you no matter what. So yeah, she’s just a really big fake online. Personality-wise anyway. Those Apple computers are real. /inside joke

Some people think that she’s trolling when she does thing but she actually isn’t. She’s more of a flamer than she is a troll. Don’t get the two mixed up. She’s usually really bored online. Her alt account is Prishe_ and she role-pays as Prishe (Final Fantasy XI) when she’s on it. She acknowledges that she calls people autistic as an insult and she doesn’t really care. Surprise, surprise. She was recently in a crusade against ValcristPL, Elice_Carol, and Panda-kun, Valcrist decided to leave GameFAQs ("Leave") though he was banned for two months anyway, Elice-Carol was shut down recently in an argument with her ("Mariho[e]"), and Panda-kun was left ogling her Apple computers. Really, he loves the computers in one of her pictures. Technically, she’s a member of the Quitting Returners but she really doesn’t see herself as one of them primarily because she doesn’t really know if she is one of them. She thinks that most people there hate her. :moon2: That’s why it isn’t listed above. In all, she’s a rather easy member to get along with and once she likes you she’ll probably never insult you in purposefully. She probably will take jokes too far though.

Woo, another bit of time off means another opportunity to blog. I should really find a hobby to do during the day. As some of you may know already, I don’t actually do much during the day during weekdays (the exact opposite of weekends when I’m always out during the day). Meaning that I get stuck at home doing nothing waiting until 8 or 9 PM to go out with friends. Fragment you say? Ignore it grammar people. What I would do during the day is a mystery and what I do that has to wait until nighttime will also be a mystery to you guys. Though, this does leave me to do nothing but be on the internet grasping for attention by strange people all day who want nothing to do than to give me candy in the devil costume (inside joke, long story). Enough about me and my whiny complaints though, I have other things to do such as update the GameFAQs guide of survivalnessnessness. Also not a word but let’s move on!

A member requested this one so let’s hope I don’t suck at being funny this time. Kuop1705 is a member who likes to have conversations with himself a lot. A whole lot. It’s almost an everyday occurrence at this point. Time for some kayfabe kids so listen up (Bing what kayfabe is if you don’t know): Kupo1705 is a moogle who is in a relationship with Terra Branford. The real one obviously. He is generally very talkative and likes to talk about his past relationship with her. It has recently come to light that they had a baby (Moogles and half-espers are close enough I suppose) and because of this Terra Branford had lost her position as a non-mortal (an “elite” group of members). Catch my drift, yeah?

In reality, Kupo likes to create alternate accounts of different things. In the LR (Lightning Returns) board, he made the Terra Branford account and possibly the Celes-Chere account. I stopped keeping track at this point. There are other accounts that he could’ve possibly made but I forgot their names. Bad me. It is widely suspected that he is the one using the Terra Branford account and the Celes-Chere account but those could be just j-fielding95 (another account that one or two people think is Kupo). He was thought as rather unfunny by many due to the fact that he talks a lot to the alt Terra Branford. The conversation between the two have derailed plenty of threads that are too numerous to list. Note the word “thought.” It was recently confirmed how unfunny he is in a thread which will be linked by doing an almost self-parody of trolling. It was just really bad like the previous sentence I wrote which probably didn’t make any sense. I hope that puts it in perspective.

Don’t take him too seriously really if his opinions seem outlandish (outlandish doesn’t mean doesn’t agree with me by the way). He’s not really worth the pretend drama. Recently, he got into a feud with Elice_Carol over whether or not he played XIII or XIII-2. They’re probably still going at it but you should ignore it. It isn’t funny to read at all. But that’s how things generally are around Kupo1705.

MoogleHunter. A newbie to the Lightning Returns board and a well-mannered person all around considering most other people there. In the early days, MoogleHunter was suspected to be an alt of one of the other members but it seems not to be the case at this point. If it turns out to be an alt, well, we can only hope the person emulates such a fine individual that MoogleHunter is.

For a short history now Rags. MoogleHunter was discovered by renowned moogle hunter Terra Branford. Luckily for MoogleHunter, Terra decided to keep it instead of murdering it in cold blood because she saw potential in it. Raising it as one of her own, she developed MoogleHunter into a cold moogle hunting machine. MoogleHunter discovered GameFAQs as Terra Branford and her partner in crime Prishe were making fun of people for being dumb or “not at their level.” Thus, MoogleHunter was born and decided to educate people far and wide.

Very short I guess. But it’s a new member so not much can be done. Plus, it’s a good member and yes I will use “it” if I don’t know the person’s gender. Another post with no comedy or satire in it. I’m disappointing myself at this point. Whatever, I'll have a week to wok on the next one.

Spending time with the family meaning I have time to update this blog which is great since I started this just yesterday too!

Okay GameFAQs newbie, unlike the rest of the blogs in this series, I will mainly be serious in this one. I can't be too sarcastic talking about the basics and stuff. Because then they wouldn't be so basic and little complicated. We can't have that. :knd1: On to the show then! Please note, every blog after this one will have a much more colorful vibe to it. Very sprite-ish and the like.

Factions within GameFAQs (note that some factions may overlap)

• Normal Members: Yes, the normal members. They're the members that are there to discuss whatever the on-topic topic is. Unlike on other forums, they're surprisingly rare in the current Final Fantasy fandom there. What is the reason for that you may be asking yourself. The reason for that is because the latest mainstream Final fantasy game released (non-online games anyway) is labeled as the "Current Final Fantasy discussion board." Unofficially of course. Whether or not this is a good thing is up for debate. The current board is the Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII PS3 board. It'll be in better shape when the next game comes out in a few years. Unlike the other factions, these are very are in the current fandom.
• "Normal" members: Yes, there's a difference. Look, even put quotation marks! These are the more common members on GameFAQs. They're essentially the regulars of the board and GameFAQs fandom.
• Trolls and Flamers: The most common member. Do not though that there is a difference between the two but hopefully I will not have to spell it out. If you've been outside of ToonZone and it's wonderful membership, then you've probably seen the two. They basically range from really bad gimmicks to people that just want to straight-up make fun of you so don't let them get to you and you'll essentially be ahead of the pace!
• The Quitting Returners (the QR): A group of members that have a website and decided to make a group out of it. It started out as something else entirely but for the purposes of this guide, it's not very significant nowadays. Outside of a few exceptions, they're rather inactive in the current fandom but they still do exist and show up from time to time. It's membership is made out of all factions listed above so be a little wary of a few of them.
• The Anti-Lightning Coalition: Quite simply, they're are the anti-Lightning presence on the board. Unlike the name suggests, they aren't a cohesive unit of people that hate Lightning and not all people that dislike Lightning are apart of this coalition. These represent the most avid Lightning bashers on that forum and take a shot at her every time they get the chance. If you like Lightning, it's best to ignore them.
• Role-players: The smallest of all of the factions. They create alternate accounts and pretend to be Final Fantasy characters just like role-players do on other forums. They try not to break character as best they can though you should know which member is which.
• The Terra Branford Coalition: Arguably the most popular Final Fantasy character in the current fandom. The only characters who rival her at the moment are Cloud Stife, Zidane Tribal and Yuna. This is her fanclub. It's plentiful in number and you'll know them when you see them.

Terms & Gimmicks

• GILGAMESH: Usually done by a few members when this character is brought up. It's basically done to show how "epic" the character is. The person doing this may or may not be a fan of Gilgamesh.
• The Sazh: It's basically the exact same thing as "GILGAMESH" except it's about the character Sazh Katzroy. The "the" is always used in front of his name though his last name is rarely used if at all.
• VI vs VII vs IX vs X: Basically, if you're ever going to make a "Best FF ever" thread, these should be your only options since one of these options always win. Some would argue that XI deserves placement but not many people have played it. Some say IV but it's not going to win against the four noted.
• Fad threads: You'll see at least one every week. This is the most common gimmick on the board. Basically, it goes something like this: someone makes a thread like "Could Lightning be President?" (though it's usually much more LCD than this) and all of a sudden you'll see Sazh and Vanille Presidency threads. Congrats, that's the new fad thread. They're almost always really dumb.
• Topic, TC, and Board: Topic = Thread. TC = OP. Board = Forum.
• Tier threads: Tier lists of a variety of topics. Best clothing, best game, best music, best teeth, etc. All are options for tier threads.
• Troll: "Everyone knows what a troll is!" Not on GameFAQs. It's usually reserved to be used against by people by people that hate them. Please note: there are no good trolls on GameFAQs. Not even decent ones. They're either bad trolls OR flamers. Yes, there's a difference between the two.

Well, this wasn't very funny. But that's what happens when explaining the basics I guess. Yes, BlazBlue sprites will be used here and they will be prominent.

It's been a while since I wrote a blog. I never got around to writing that Bakugan fanfiction and I never did find that job back then. But still, I have something to start writing about today! So woo~~~

Anyway, I joined GameFAQs around January this year and I primarily post in the Final Fantasy sections. This means that I'm forced to interact with other Final Fantasy fans on the site which has a dubious reputation about it in the first place. Sadly, the reputation is well deserved and the site is pretty bad as a whole. :moon2: Though there are a few bright spots here and there for the fans and people who actually want to discuss the series here or there.

So this is my attempt to help all of the newbie GameFAQ-Final Fantasy fans on how to survive the current fandom (which all meet up in the Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII PS3 board). I'm pretty sure most of you guys probably aren't interested in this sort of thing but winter is coming up and I need to fill my time for the upcoming holidays. To avoid family and stuff of course. :rolleyes2:

This will mainly be about the members, certain gimmicks used there, the known trolls and such, etc, etc. This is going to be satirical in nature though it will be clean of profanity and such. I'll try to update this at least once every week and it'll probably be on Saturday night when I'm making fun of Bleach on the AS/Toonami boards. :raven: I hope you enjoy it if you just want to casually read it but if you're a newbie to that fanbase then I hope you'll be a little wiser when interacting with members there!

I'm tired of Terumi trolling. After a while, it gets really annoying with him since he's dangerously close to becoming an unstoppable villain as of . . . Extend. I'm not saying he's at Aizen levels or anything but yeah. Relius is a better troll since he's not doing it as much as Terumi is. So yeah, Relius > Terumi.

Unlike some fans, I actually like Noel. Mainly because of Mu-12.

Anyway, yeah. BlazBlue is my new "thing". It's right up there with Final Fantasy (errrr I mean V, VI, IX, and XI: CoP) and pre-Gen V Pokémon.

Shipping alert: Tsubaki x Hakumen is my OTP (as close as I'm going to get with a OTP anyway). They're the two most interesting characters in the game in my opinion. Screw Jin.~ The unit that Hakumen is in kind of makes it weird though.

I beat Kaiser Dragon and the Omega Weapon in Final Fantasy VI today. Needless to say, the most annoying move in the game is Freezing Dust since it freezes your character from doing anything. Luckily for me, abusing Terra with Soul of Thamasa + Quick + Ultima is a game breaker. So yeah, Terra (Lvl 99 with Soul of Thamasa and Peace Ring), Relm (Lvl 82 with Celestriad and Zephyr Cloak), Mog (Lvl 82 with Dragoon Boots and Dragon Horn), and Sabin (Lvl 82 with White Cape). Now I have to increase them all to level 97 (the last prime number) and max out their desired stats to take on the Soul Shrine which took me by surprise because I thought that the Dragon's Den was the end. Oh well.

On a side note, I haven't been on very much to comment on Durarara!! and Bleach. Hopefully I will remedy that for Bleach and I did enjoy Durarara!!'s last episode.

I have finally beat Final Fantasy Vi Advanced. Woot.~ My team was Terra, Relm, Mog, and Sabin (Which you can see in the picture below). I specifically beat the game with Relm, Mog, Celes, Locke, Shadow, and Sabin though since I put Terra as my twelfth member and Sabin in the middle because I was confused as to how I would get the party members when someone died in battle. That was silly of me. Both Mog and Celes died. Actually, most of the six I used died besides Relm who literally carried me to victory against Lady and Rest. Thankfully, Osmose and her Dualcast ability exist.

I made the decision to take the Ragnarok sword instead of the esper since I didn't want my team to be full of Ultima-abusing abusers meaning Terra is the only person to have Ultima since she leans it naturally and I equipped the Paladin Shield on her as well. Now that I finally beat the main storyline, the final challenge will probably be the Dragon's Den since I can't get 100% completion (since I chose the Ragnarok sword and not the esper).

I loved the 30 minute ending too. I really wish the Final Fantasy VI Grand Finale had it orchestrated (curse you Shiro Sagisu for giving me "Phantom Train" and not "Ending").

I started a Bakugan fanfiction a few months ago. A quit. I mean a story revolving around something lie Bakugan is difficult. It'd be so much easier to just write an AU but yeah. College and stuff.

Speaking of college, it's postponed me from playing Final Fantasy VI. Luckily for me I have some free time so I should get back to it. The last time I played Terra left me after I beat Kefka in Narche. My most powerful character right there just left me.

I'm also taking my cousin to get candy this year. Mainly because I was ever allowed to go trick-or-treating so this is my bright spot. Plus, I can't go to any parties this year since it falls on a Monday. There's always next year.

First of all Dissidia > 012 Dissidia (especially since I main Terra and she got nerfed in 012 which is funny since Feral Chaos wasn't that difficult to defeat for some reason).

With that out of the way, I'm having trouble defeating Inward Chaos, well, Chaos (everyone on the way to him are terrible excuses of cannon fodder really). I can defeat level 100 Chaos with minimal effort but I can't beat level 110 Chaos mainly because of his hax summon Shinryu and his Divine Punishment move that I haven't completely timed out perfectly yet I usually get to the third round of the match but by then I usually get crushed since I haven't mastered Sneak Attack so I have to remove it for EXP to HP.

I don't know what it says about the level 120 opponents in the Lunar Whale Colosseum since they're almost as bad their Inward Chaos counterparts barring that even more hax level 120 Chaos that's roaming in there. Anyway, I'm getting close to beating him. I've been routinely getting to the final round against him and causing some damage because he inevitably destroys me with his 196 Atk. brave moves on my poor 182 Def. with Terra (even worse since he has 202 Def. and I only have 179 Atk.).

Huzzah, I sound like I play video games often (I only own like five video games actually but they actually have replay value to me [Pokémon: Platinum, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II, Dissidia Final Fantasy, 012 Dissidia Final Fantasy, and Final Fantasy VI]). Yes that is BlazBlue but it's pronounced Blaze Blue. I don't know why.

Oh, my Bakugan fanfiction. It's doing alright. I've had to slow down because of college but I'm happy on how it's going.

So yeah, Hurricane Irene is currently making her way up the East coast and it's likely to be the first hurricane to hit New York City in over 100 years which sucks since I live there. It's predicted to either be a category 2 or 3 hurricane with winds between 65mph and 100mph by the time it hits here early Sunday. In case you didn't know, New York City is about 9 or 10 feet above sea level the last time I checked but 4 out of the 5 boroughs (I live in one of the four) that make up New York aren't connected to mainland America which may be a problem. Up to 65 million people could possibly be affected by this with 30 million people under a hurricane warning or a hurricane watch (hurricane watch for New York).

When this hits, it's going to cripple the city. The underground train stations are going to be out of service, many areas are going to be flooded, and communications are going to be gone for days and possibly weeks. The Governor already called for a State of Emergency as well but there's mandatory evacuation yet so I'm thinking that I should just ride this one out. I probably won't have internet for weeks at a maximum and I'm going to use my phone, iPod, etc sparingly (no Tumblr, Facebook, or ToonZone as well as setback with ThunderCats, Durarara!!, and my Bakugan story D: ).

Hopefully, I'll be able to say that I survived an earthquake AND a hurricane in the same week. I'll take a picture and upload one tomorrow with how things look as the hurricane approaches since it's really sunny right now. You wouldn't even know a hurricane was coming if you looked outside.

EDIT: It's about to hit North Carolina.

So I start college near the end of August in my pursuit of getting a degree in History. It might be the 26th or 29th. I don't remember which quite honestly. Either way, I have to buy a new laptop and all of that jazz still but I already do have all the books I will need. I bought a Kindle a few days ago so hopefully that will help me out. I would say I'm not nervous but I guess I am. I'm lucky that I don't have to go out and find a job yet but I think that I should. I need some kind of experience working after all.

Now, I've missed the last three episodes of ThunderCats. Cartoon Network needs of start airing reruns of this show. I don't particularly like watching shows on my computer and I'd like to watch it on my nice television. Come one Cartoon Network, you rerun other shows. At least air this thing on Saturday mornings or Sunday evenings. It'd wonderful.

WWE has been slightly up and very down with me lately. The Divas' title looks ridiculous. I know it was introduced a year or two back but who thought it would be a good idea to get rid of the Women's belt and replace it with a silver title? And why did Rey have to lose on the same night that he got the WWE title? They couldn't wait a week? I like the Del Rio defended his championship in a clean match against Rey though. And why does Cole still have a job? He sucks at commentating and doesn't need to be on both shows. Now it's going to be Mark Henry against Randy Orton. I don't care much for Randy, though I don't like his Viper stuff and don't see why he's so popular, but Mark Henry is so boring. I really don't want him to win the belt.
