Well, I think this could be interesting. I did saw his little film on the TT DVD.

I was about to report this :)

(shakes fist!)

I think if he can get Clooney and Bloom aboard that could go a long way towards him being allowed to helm the movie.

Maybe he can also get WETA to do the effects thanks to his connection to a certian pudget Kiwi director.

Good Scoop Aragon!

this would be awesome. especially because i think orlando bloom would be a good choice the human torch. he is a big actor right now and he could probably bring in the female viewing audience

I have the feeling it could be clooney and Rebecca Romijn Stamos as The Invisible Woman Sue Richards. She recently said in an interview for the punisher she would be involved in a staring role (something along those lines) in a new Marvel movie. She would be a really good choice.

Please do not refer to Sean Astin as "Samwise Gamgee." Even after being in three of the biggest movies ever that guy is still and forever more Rudy. Thank you.

It would be great to see Samwise get some respect as a Director... but most off all I just wanna see this movie made! It really annoyed me when Peyton Reed was pulled of / abandoned the project. I think a good FF moive is very possible, but we already know a bad one is waaay easier to make, so the right director will probably make or break this whole project... here's hoping...

Go Sean Astin! It would be VERY cool if he gets the directorial job. He's a fan, and he's got the passion, I just hope he wouldn't get burned on the studio interference (Like what happened to Burton on his Batman and Superman movies.)

I really hope he's making notes from the Lee/Kirby FF issues and not the early 90's issues...

He did really good in directing an episode of angel. So i guess i can already say that i'm a fan of his work. But one episode of a tv series and a whole movie are two different things....but at least i know he already has the talent
