Mighty Mouse DVD Petition

With the petition on getting LOONEY TUNES on dvd, this web-site just launched another petition to get the original classic MIGHTY MOUSE cartoons onto to dvd and video.

Next year marks the 60th anniversary of Mighty Mouse, this is another major important petition to sign.I signed it yesterday and so should you guys...

For the record, the Mighty Mouse Petition was started before the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies one. :)

Realistically though, I doubt that anything will happen with Mighty Mouse until probably 2003. Universal currently has the video rights to all the Terrytoons library but haven't done a thing with them. Those rights revert back to Paramount sometime next year (I think), so the hope is that after Paramount gets the rights, they will start releasing some of this classic animation.

The purpose of the petition is to basically raise awareness to the studios that there is a desire to have these cartoons on DVD. After all, it can't hurt to let them know what you want, right?! ;)
