It sorta fits, being SGC2C n'all. Can't say that I've even heard of an SGC2C comic book however. Who does he interview?

I like them on the rare occasions that they find their way into my local bookstore.

Space Ghost never got his own comic, but he was in a few issues of Cartoon Network's original comics. CARTOON NETWORK PRESENTS was around the Moltar-era of Toonami, so the comics mainly focused on the action Hanna-Barbera cartoons. I'm not sure if he was actually in these, since every other issue was around Cow & Chicken or Dexter's Lab, but its quite possible. (Birdman was in #5, IIRC.)

CARTOON CARTOONS came about around 2002, and still runs today. Every few issues or so they'll have Space Ghost and the C2C gang in some whacky adventure. Don't go in expecting much, but they are still nice reads.

I know it's cartoon network presents but i was just to lazy to type it in. I've only read cartoon network presents but in my Overstreet Price Guide they do list a SGC2C comic.

I think I have one issue of the SGC2C comic, or Cartoon Network comic or whatever, I remember it being funny, but never seeing another issue...

now an ATHF comic... there's an idea to kick around... if it worked it could be hilarious, and since i didnt think that the SG comic would work, my instincts could be wrong on this one too. But my gut says 'no'.

Well, Space Ghost C2C is a branch of CARTOON CARTOONS so for ATHF to have a comic, they'd have to start another CN branch of comics or something. There's no way they could downgrade ATHF to fit in with Cartoon Cartoons.

As for the comic, its okay on occasion. It still has funny points to it though the characters are somewhat out of.

I have one issue, it's alright. Definitely not up to par with the show though. It was funny seeing Space Ghost and friends playing baseball. :)

I scored the three Toonami issues of Cartoon Network Presents in Texas.

Note: Moltar does not like industrial German rock.

The C2C issues are alright. Nothing to get terribly excited about, but they're an OK read if you find them cheaply and in you're in that kind of mood.

I would LOVE to see an ATHF comic book. I think it could sell well enough for its existence to be justified, and there's lots of story possibilities. Besides, there's this crazy trend of GOOD licensed comic books in the industry right now (Megaman, Street Fighter, the Robotech titles, etc.)

I remember reading a SGC2C comic. My memory's fuzzy, but I remember the issue had something to do with babysitting and....candy....there was also a thing with Brak. I remember laughing at it so it must've been kinda funny.

I've read a few of them and they're not too bad. The one I like the best is the issue with the manga parody. Man, it was hilarious. It had awesome artwork too. :D

all the space ghost comic info you could ever want:(i did not write any of this)

The first SG:C2C comic was produced in-house at Cartoon Network. It was
given to employees, cable affiliates, and people who wrote to the
address shown at the end of each episode (which is how I got mine). Here it
is:
The issue is reveals the origin of the show; Space Ghost decided to
become a talk show host to save Earth form the brutal "talk show wars".
The art is pretty bad, but the story is interesting. The comic is only 8
pages, and is "golden age" sized, if you ever plan on bagging it.
The 2nd SG:C2C comic was issue #2 of "Cartoon Network Presents" (Sep
97):
Bad story + bad art = total waste of time. For completists only. "CN
Presents" lasted 24 issues, and only that one featured Space Ghost.
But then, a breath of fresh air! For the new "Cartoon Network Starring"
series, it was decided that every 3rd (or so) issue would fetaure an
SG:C2C story written and drawn by the people who actually make the show!
Hallelujah! Behold these masterpieces of comic book comedy:

Cartoon Network Starring #4 (Dec 99):

Cartoon Network Starring #9 (May 00):

Cartoon Network Starring #12 (Aug 00):

Cartoon Network Starring #15 (Nov 00):

Cartoon Network Starring #18 (Feb 01):

After issue #18, CN Starring was renamed "Cartoon Cartoons", but the SG
issues kept coming...

Cartoon Cartoons #3 (May 01):

Cartoon Cartoons #6 (Sep 01):

CARTOON CARTOONS #10
Written by Robbie Busch; art by Robert Pope and Dave Hunt; cover by C.
Martin Croker
It's a Spring Break Space-tacular! Space Ghost
takes his crew down South to mingle with the kids for a TV special…only to
find it's Zorak who's the toast of Florida. Party on, citizens!
32 pages, $1.99

CARTOON CARTOONS #13
Written by Will Pfeifer, Jennifer Moore & Sean Carolan; art by Matt Jenkins, Robert Pope, Dave Hunt, and Dan Davis; cover by C. Martin Croker
Space Ghost decides it’s his lucky day, and nothing’s gonna’ change his mind about it — not even Zorak’s violent efforts to prove otherwise. Plus, Brak interviews people on the street, asking the blissfully stupid questions that only Brak can ask! This is going to cause problems when he tries to interview an angry cosmic villain!
32 pages, $2.25

Actually, you could make an ATHF comic without toning it down. Just have DC publish it as part of their vertigo line (comics for mature readers). You could even throw in Sealab, Harvey Birdman, and Brak comics in too (HB could even represent dc guys like prez and brother power, among other MIA characters from the 70s and 80s).

Somehow I don't think ATHF would work on the Vertigo label... besides the liscensing issues, ATHF would actually not be considered a 'mature audiences' comic like most of the Vertigo titles, so it wouldn't really fit. Unfortunately it also wouldn't really fit as a mainsteam title anywhere except maybe Image, which has no real continuity to it's titles since they're all creator owned and produced.

Image Is probly the best bet, since creators have total controll of what kind of comic they make, but like I said, it's probably highly unlikely that any AS original show would get it's own comic.

You couldn't use the Image label because Image isn't owned by Warner Bros., whereas Vertigo and DC are.

That leaves one other option, which would be Jim Lee's imprint (Wildstorm), which would be a wildly incorrect choice. If there was to be an ATHF comic, I think Vertigo would probably be the logical place to stick it. It might clash with the typical Vertigo style (it wouldn't be a deep, introspective, or particularly mature form of storytelling), but it'd be a better fit than DC or Wildstorm.

My friend has all of the Space Ghost comics for some esoteric reason. They're not terribly funny.
