Oooo, fun. A trailer I haven't seen before, and it's really fun. I'm not sure how much I like the American version of the song, the Japanese version is much more fun... But it still sounds OK!

ack. why, oh why could they've got the instrumental from Japan. (Shoot, I would have done a better job, and I would have done it for less, seriously.) The vocalist is pretty nice though. :) Though, I hope they got a band for the ED though, because it'd be even less tolerant of the funi synth.

Anyway, the trailer confirms what the two episodes I've seen of the show implied though: this show is freakin fun. March 9th can't come soon enough (come on, get this one on CN too. AS preferably so the service comes though intact, because that's where many of the jokes are.)

Has it been confirmed if Geneon's voice actors will reprise their roles in GXP?
Heck yeah. That was confirmed a LONG time ago by FUNi. ^_^

It was confirmed that they were TRYING but as far as I know Geneon's VAs refused to cooperate, so FUNi was out of luck. Dunno if this situation has changed but whatever path they took is irreversible at this point.

Like, wow.... That was cool... :D If this doesn't make anyone besides me want to see it, nothing will.

And he's already said FUNi farmed it out to a California studio.

What I don't get, now that I listen to the original version of theme again, is why they used in synth "natural" horns in place of the synth hits and keys used in the original, and a more "natural" drum kits. It would have been fine if they'd stuck to the synthiness in the original, and similar sound had to have been at their disposal (certain sounds in the GM sound kit with a few tweaks would have better approximated element of the original mix.)

Which probably means when they dub OAV 3 it probably won't be the original cast.

Anyway, GXP looks pretty fun! I can't wait till March.

Just wondering, anyone know of a way to actually download it?

I think it's likely to air on CN... it's just the block that's debatable. The majority of FUNi stuff has hit TV (What hasn't... Fruits Basket, the Lupin movies, and everything not yet released?)

Hmmm. I like the trailer. Looks like a good show.
Hopefully I get a chance to see it. :anime:

Yea, the synth was a little much. I think Funi's english versions of Anime OPs/EDs is a nice touch, and this was still pretty good. The singer's good. But, man, even the "Go! Go! Go!" in the background doesn't sounds fake. In any case, if get bored with it, there's always the option to switch over to the Japanese audio track for a bit, right? Or just skip it altogether.

As for the actual trailer itself, it's pretty cool, and should get people interested/excited if they aren't already. They sure pimped out the cameos, huh? I mean, wasn't that just like a one or two episode thing? And the "You know you want it" rubbed me the wrong way. I mean, it sounds like a girl from a 1-900 number.

I still wonder why Geneon treated a part of it's flagship series so badly and FUNi decided to take it.

Oh well. I'll just start dling the trailer now.
