Was an interesting way to get Forge into the series, guess there won't be any romance with Storm anytime soon. If a suspicious looking gizmo had zapped your friend to another dimension then surely the last thing you'd do is destroy it? Not the best episode of the show, Kurt's goofing seemed to be over exagerated this episode compared to previously, though I guess having the image inducer would bring alot of relief after being forced to hide for so long. Duncan Matthews reminds me way too much of Flash Thompson from Spidey.

Duncan is Flash Thompson. But Duncan went from jock bully to attempted murderer, and ended up more like Graydon Creed at the end.
I always liked Forge and it was a clever way to introduce him. Having him be an adult in a teenager’s body. The rest of the episode was kind of blah. I did like how the X-Men and Brotherhood reacted to one another at school. Kitty showed she wasn’t a complete ditz with the gizmo. I cringed every time Lance made a rock pun. He wasn’t as bad with them after this episode. It was odd that Pietro never showed at the fight. He was in the beginning of this episode.

steve e. gordon directed this ep if i remember right. he's also the character designer for the show, here's a guy with a great understanding of the designs. i loved the animation in this ep, it was really beautiful. rumor has it that steve does some animation for the show when it's affordable, and i have a feeling he did some animation for this ep. the style, who ever it was mind you, i've only seen this beautiful quality and style in this ep and a select others as well, one of those other eps i remember was directed by gordon as well. i don't know if his name gets credit for some actual animating in this ep, but i have a hunch it was him, and my hat's off to him. from scene to scene, you can tell the overseas animators (who also did a great job) did most of the ep, but a few scenes stuck out to me. the opening animation, and the ending fight scene, and possibly, the chase after toad, look to be that of one animator. the story was good, nothing exceptional, it's the visual quality that grabbed me.

One of the few Kurt-centric episodes I like, when he was cute instead of annoying. Forge is awesome and had a nice introduction. Wish we could have seen more of him. The first B'Hood vs. X-Men fight was well done, particularly the wraparound scene in the school hall. Avalanche's rock puns were at their absolute worst however. ("concrete coaster?" The heck?) Toad was amusing, though.

Not a bad episode, I like Forge and the X-men vs. Brotherhood scenes were well done. This was the first time they clashed as team vs. team, and interestingly this battle was left undecided when the car arrived and crashed into Fred, which adds a bit variety, considering after that the Bhood didn't even get close to wining until Hex Factor. (Or did they beat them in Cauldron? If I remember well, that fight was also interrupted by Magneto's spheres. )

I bought all of the X-Men Evo DVDs and watched all the Season 4 episodes online so I decided to write my opinions on any them.
