<a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2001/10/08/business/media/08COMI.html">New York Times</a> did a special story on the upcoming issue of The Amazing Spider-Man focusing on the tragedy that shook the world on September 11th, 2001. The special story, which will appear in The Amazing Spider-Man #36, will deal with how Spider-Man reacts to the bombing, and features victims of the attacks asking why Spider-Man could not stop the terrorists, an answer Straczynski struggled to find. This issue will be the first comic to deal with thwe tragedy. The article also features a page from the upcoming issue, hitting stands on October 28th, 2001.
