After hearing the very bad news(thank's to CN's decison to air PPG CTCD) knocking out the ACME HOUR to 11pm.Does this mean that "Rocky And Bullwinkle" will no longer be on CN in a few weeks?

Clearly this is Cartoon Network's BEST! tv cartoon show and it sucks that the show could have been treated better by the network.First(at a very good time slot) it used to be on during their prime time schedule. then CN bumps it into a weekly two episode show at 11pm on Sat and 3am late Sun/early Mon morning.

Boy what another very BAD network decision by CN, just so they can show more of their home made crap, like if their own shows don't get any good air time on their channel.

THIS SUCKS BIG TIME

ANYBODY AGREE?

Will Rocky and Bullwinkle still come on 4 AM on late Saturday nights?

The online schedule says it will be on at 4-5 Sat AM and the same shows 11-12 Sat PM. So it will just be on a little later. *whew*

I am hoping that this is the correct schedule.

Now that I look at it more, I am more sure that the online schedule has not been corrected yet. So....forget what I just said.

Call me lucky, but here in Chicago I get "The Bullwinkle Show" with original opening theme credits at 6AM Monday - Friday on a local independent station.

Am I lucky or what?!? ;)

Yeah, it was on the local Fox station here very early Sun. mornings last year. I might have to try to watch that now that CN might be dropping it.

Who owns the Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoons?

I'd like to see the owner restore them and also release them to DVD. The prints CN show are horrible and are only marginally better than Dudley Do-Right's prints.

Not sure who actually OWNS them, but a few years back Buena Vista Home Video (Disney) put out a series of R & B collections on VHS. It would be nice to see them show up on DVD, with some supplemental stuff, like the Cheerios commercials.

The home video rights to Rocky & Bullwinkle are currently controlled by Universal.

http://www.designtrain.com/jayward/ is the official site of Ward's company, headed by his daughter Tiffany.

My understanding is that 'U' (as Variety call them) license just about all the applicable rights to R&B (the original episodes included).

I actually saw tapes of 'Jay Ward Commercials' w/R&B on the covers - maybe they are still in production?

but, yeah, I'd like to see the original shows w/commercials, not separately...

Having the DVDs with the original commercials included as a supplement would be very ideal.

I am surprised they didn't at least give us ONE DVD release of Bullwinkle cartoons when the live action movie came to DVD.
