Even though, I thought "Duck Dodgers" was very good, this was a funny parody.

That review is great, Thad... Very accurate, too... You've summed up my thoughts on Duck Dodgers completely.
Notice that the new Duck Dodgers picture shown in the comparison at the start of the page has Kraft and Cartoon Network logos, as well as the characters having thicker outlines and being drawn uglier...

Excellent review Thad..You get my thumbs up!;)
After reviewing the first season of "Duck Dodgers" and viewing the series, for a second time, all I can say that this series is a "MAJOR DISAPOINTMENT".Why base a classic cartoon seven minute one reeler into two twelve segements for a modern day audience is totally beyond me.Although, there was only two good episodes and the animation was very good and the voices were decent, but the opening theme music is the "WORST" I have ever heard for a tv cartoon show and the storylines were pretty weak, for which was the downside for this series.I personally thought that the animators didn't stay true to the original concept of the classic 1953 short and why it makes me sick on doing new ideas based upon the classic Looney Tunes characters today...Just look at the results for "Back In Action"....
I personally think that whoever may be charge over at Time Warner if they forget about doing new projects with their classic characters and (just like they're doing now) release the original shorts for today's audience and maybe we'll be all better off.

I couldn't through an episode it stunk that bad. Thanks for the (hateful, prejudicial, funny, making fun of crappy) review!:D

GREAT REVIEW!! The Test Pattern punchline that closed it was worth it alone.
The theme tune and opening credits certainly are the worst I've seen this year. The Screen Gems reissue titles were more innovative than them.
What is on the opening titles?

Great review!
If I knew what it was a parody of, I'd like it even more! :p
