I hardly tell anybody this because when I do some people think I'm lying but I had the honor to met a few celebs...
Will Smith: His from my home time and he was really funny and cool. He wish me luck in my writing and told me to do good school. He doesn't leave behind his hometown and I give him major kudos just for that.
Michelle Branch: Summer vacation and met her... it was so weird. She was doing a concert and she was just doing some site seeing just like me and my cousin and I met her. She was really down to earth and super nice.
Sarah Michelle Gellar: This was number five on my "Before I Die" list... I have always been a fan and to met her was just great. When I say she was super sweet and down to earth.... she really was. This was about the time around season five and she gave me a hug and told me to keep supporting the show and I told her "I will... I love you and you need to do more movies and grab an oscar". Now only if I can met Joss, Nicky, Aly, Emma, and Tony Head.

I met LFO back in 2nd grade, way before they became famous, then unfamous again. :p
And one of them again in 5th grade, they were on tour with Britney Spears or something and he(one of them) came in.
The reason why they came in because a girl's uncle was their manager.
Not much.
You're lucky that you've met all of those celebrities! :)
I met Dave Attell from Insomniac, but it was just a Virgin Megastore appearance. I think celebrities tend to avoid Columbus Ohio anyway, so I'm sure I won't get to see very many more in the near future.

I've been fortunate enough to meet a good chunk of the WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? cast when they were doing a show in Vancouver - Ryan and Colin's hometown. :) I got to meet Ryan, Colin, Greg, Brad, and Chip, and it was all good - got pics with three of 'em. Good guys they are, coming out to deal with us diehards at the stage entrance and all. :)

Coolio on a flight from Hawaii to L.A. although I was heading to NYC.
The two girls from "My Wife and Kids" in Hawaii filming the Hawaiian vacation episode.
And the artist of "THIS MODERN WORLD".
That's about it. Can't say I'm too impressed with celebrities. Just do their job and do it good, but don't expect me to kiss up. Unless they're handing out gobs of money.

I met the Rock once and the crazy guy from Dead Man on Campus who also played the deputy in freddy Vs Jason. On a funny note my friend and I had the idea of going to a gym where Triple H was training for Blade 3 in vancouver, then go up to him, do his signature spray and flex pose before he enters the ring, then pointing at him and walking away without saying a word....still makes me laugh.

Christy Carlson Ramano from Even Stevens & Kim Possible at a Licensing show. She was very nice.
Nascar drivers Elliot Sadler, Jimmie Johnson, Ward Burton & Scott Riggs. All were nice and talkative.
Tony Danza at a filming of Who's the Boss. He was very cool and even said some words on my video camera.
Steve Van Zandt from the E Street Band and the Sopranos at a signing in my town.
And the actor who plays the Gorton's Fisherman and who always played the heavy in tv shows in the 70's & 80's at a convention. :p

I met Mike Nelson of MST3K fame at a book signing of Death Rat in Roseville, MN. Very funny guy- one of the lines I remember him saying to the crowd was "I just met Barnes & Noble a few minutes ago. Noble's a great guy, but Barnes? Kind of an ass." And this probably doesn't count, but I'm distantly related to Tom Wopat of Dukes of Hazzard fame. :D

Jesse Ventura.
Here's how it happened: I was at Reagan Airport, ready to go see Washington DC, and I was on my way to the luggage carousel. I see a tall bald-headed man in a suit.
Me: Is that Jesse Ventura?
Dad: It looks like him.
(We get closer.)
Me: Hey, it is!
(I fumble around for a pencil and paper but I don't have one. The airport is fairly congested and I had no time to stop. In a last ditch effort to get his attention...)
Me: Hey!
Jesse "The Body" Ventura: Hey!
(Then we walk away from each other.)
Damn. If only I got his autograph.

Doogie Howser, AKA Neil Patrick Harris, who also does the voice for the MTV Spider-man.
I saw Cabaret on Broadway last February which was starring him. During one of the musical numbers ("Don't Tell Mama"), he suddenly appeared out of nowhere and draped himself on me and asked me if I was enjoying the show. I nearly screamed... I'm pretty jumpy. :P

I useully don't care about this, but there were three execptions...
1. Chris Martin- I met and got his Autograph at a showing of the Coldplay Live! stuff on screen. He's not like they say he is. He's a great guy.
2. Jack Black- Met him at a Tenacious D concert, he is awesome.
3. Seth Green- Just plain cool. I saw him in a airport.

Also, they shot a scene or scenes from Good Will Hunting in the town that I used to live in, South Boston.
It was the talk of the town back then.
Too bad the town is over ridden with damn yuppies and ugly condos. :(

That reminds me- they shot part of Traffic here in Columbus. The scene where Michael Douglas is walking out of the Capitol building, I was like "Holy ****! I know where that is!" It's about a 15 minute walk from where I live to the Capitol building.

Josh Saviano aka Paul Phifer of Wonder Years fame was in my fraternity, though at the Yale chapter. One year a bunch of them came up to Mass to party. He is nothing like his wonder years persona, I'll tell you that much right now.
And Albert from the WWE. He shook my hand at a resteraunt before leaving. Biggest human I have ever met.

U.S. Senators Tom Daschle and Tim Johnson
Former U.S. Representative (and future Senator :) ) John Thune

I came close to meeting Janet Evnonvich, a famous author, my mom is is a big fan of hers and I was tagging along with her when she went to a few of her book sigings.
I don't know if this counts, but I met Brett Wever (Dub voice of Nabeshine in Excel Saga and Carrot from Sorcerer Hunters) and Monica Rail (Dub voice of Hyatt in Excel Saga) at Anime Central '03. Both were very nice and funny people.

Played basketball with Adam Sandler.
When I was in the National Geography Bee in 1997, asked Alex Trebek how often he knew the questions to the answers on Jeopardy (a little more than half).
Ran into Tom Brokaw in New Orleans. Didn't realize it was him until the next day.
I've met one of the local weathermen and local sportscasters at elementary school on separate occasions. I had to get good grades (easy) in order to meet them.
Besides, I live in the same region as Bennifer and Sandra Bullock. In fact, Ms. Bullock lives on Tybee Island, which is a 5-10 minute drive from my house. And Ben Affleck shopped at the Bass Pro Shop near my university.
I can't wait to meet all the national newscasters coming to the region for the G-8 Summit this summer.

I met the one and only Bruce Campbell, when he was touring for his Autobiography, which was last Oct 2002. I met him twice, and the second time, I was video taping and asked him a question, then suddenly, he took my camera, and started filming me. It was a real fun guy, I just wish his other fans asked him better questions unlike "What are your 3 favorite bears?"
I also had a phone call to my house by Ken Osmond "Eddie Haskell" on the original "Leave it to Beaver" show. He liked my letter so much that I sent him, he decided to call my house and answer my questions. Let's just say I was shocked. I said "I'm shocked!" and he said "Why?" and then I said, "Cause your Eddie Haskell!"

I've seen John Mellancamp more times than I can count. He lives in my hometown, and pretty much functions like a regular guy. I serve him at the movie theatre all the time. Really sweet fellow.
I met the Dalai Lama when I was a little girl . . . I broke away from my parents and climbed up onto the podium where he was speaking. Luckily the monks all stopped the security people who thought I was like, a bomb or something.

Courtney Love at the airport in 1994.
Hulk Hogan at Disney World in 1994.
Michael Jackson at Toys 'R' Us in March 2002. -- No Joke, I'm being serious, I was checking out Action Figures at the one in Times Square and I look over I see a Pale White guy with long black hair and I realize it's him. He was checking out the ET stuff. Before I could even react a huge crowd formed and practically chased him out of the store. He had to use the emergency exit to leave. And I was the only one in my family who saw him and I was the only one without a camera. I was thinking of just going through the Emergency Exit door to catch a glimpse of him.
For you LI posters and readers, the Kid from the Fun Zone commercial who says "Can We Go Again" was in my Physics class last year.

I met him once and I have to agree, he's the best. When we saw him he did that flip where he grabs himself by the head and throws himself to the ground, all just because a kid asked him to. Great guy! :)
Let's see, he's about the only real celebrity I've ever met. I saw Jeff Gordon (Nascar driver) once, but he seemed so very full of himself.
Oh and some celebrities I wished I hadn't met.. On a plane trip back from England we got stuck sitting by the Bay City Rollers. Don't worry, I had never heard of them either, but my aunt told me that they're some sort of 70's rock band. Total jerks! They kept bragging about who they were and hitting on all of us. Yuck.

I met Russell Crowe completely by accident. I went to a concert (not one of his) and my Dad (thae agent of artist whose show it was) told me that Crowe was there in the audience. Later, I was backstage at the gig about 20 minutes after the show and did a caricature of Crowe. I went to show my dad, but walked into the wrong door and Russel Crowe was sitting there having a beer with the artist. He introduced me, he asked me about what kind of music I liked and whether I play an instrument (I play piano, drums, timpani and a bit of guitar). When I had to go he autographed the carcicature. I found out the next morning that my Dad and the artist(who shall not be named) had stayed drinking with Crowe in the bar of the hotel where he played.

I almost had the chance to meet Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson.
They were filming Anger Management in my friend's small, blink-and-youll-miss it town in NJ. My friend invited me over to go see them film, but I had prior engagements . They cut out most of the scenes from the movie tho, except for the part when they're in the car and driving towards the monastary. The trees in the background were NJ trees!

I've gone to several sci-fi cons so I've met more than my share, here's a few highlights
John Billingsley: Dr. Phlox from "Enterprise" while I'm not much of a fan of the show, I did have a drink with him, his wife, a friend from Orlando and Bobby Clark, who played the Gorn Captain in the original Star Trek series, the defining moment was when John himself admitted that yes, the Enterprise writing does indeed suck
Martin Nodell, creator of "Green Lantern" he and I talked about his creation for a while and he signed a GL graphic novel featuring Alan Scott

I met George Lindsey (Gomer, from The Andy Griffith Show) at a Dairy Queen in my former hometown. He's from the county seat of another former hometown of mine, so, we consider him a local boy.
I saw lots of people in Washington D.C. Closest I got to them, though, was Chief Justice Rehnquist, who walked right by me while I was stupidly looking the other way.
Chad Hennings, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys, visited the AF base I used to work at last June. Dude, those Super Bowl rings are huge. 'Course, his hands were huge, as well.

So far I've met people mostly from the Whedon-verse. From Buffy: Danny Strong and Robia LaMorte. From Angel: Mark Lutz. From Firefly: Nathan Fillion, Gina Torres, Adam Baldwin, Morena Baccarin, Ron Glass, writers Tim Minear and Ben Edlund, and creator Joss Whedon.
One trippy encounter I had was in Las Vegas. I was at a showing of Mystere with my family, and Kevin Costner and his family were sitting 20 feet away from us. And just before the performance, Bill Clinton and Chelsea paraded in with the secret service to their seats.
My favorite experience wasn't in person though, but a short phone conversation with producer Lou Scheimer. I'm a huge He-Man and She-Ra fan, and so it was very exciting.
