<a href="http://www.copmingsoon.net">Coming Soon</a> reports that an Aquaman feature film could be in the works at WB. Below is an excerpt from the report posted up:
The reliable Aquaman chronicles confirms that a live action "Aquaman" movie starring Kiefer Sutherland and Monica Potter is indeed in the works. or atleast in discussion stages.
The movie will remain very true to the comics from which it is based upon; but combine several elements of the various adventures aquaman experienced. One element that's being looked at is Aquaman's trip to Atlantis. This, you may recall, is where our hero died. He was soon resurrected though.
The name being branded about is Kiefer Sutherland; and the only thing that will hold him back is the fact that Sutherland is busy with a new tv show called "24", which ive never heard of. It's also been reported that the character of Lisa Mortel might be incorporated. Mortel, with her unforegttable purple eyes, believes she has the power of Aquaman, but it soon wears off. An actress named Monica Potter is being sought after for the role.
The chronicles says not to expect the movie until at least 2004.
