My favorite characters get used a lot as muses on my own message board, which means they end up rubbing elbows (and getting into trouble) with other people's muses.
In this case, the unlikely trio of Gambit, Barnacle (the pony), and Booster got together and, upon discovering that Beetle had a crush on Oracle, "helpfully" started writing a love poem they could send her under his name.
Of course, Booster's idea of a love poem turned out ot be a questionable limerick (with an . . . educational . . . drawing at the bottom), Remy kept slipping in random French words, and Barny suggested that the perfect rhyme for computer would be "frumfooter."
It went downhill from there. :D

(And Booster is glaring at Barny because he was the one who took the poem over to Ted when the other two weren't looking and asked him what the people in the picture "were doing." Yes. Indeed.)
