Dexter is one of my favorite cartoons on Cartoon Network. I can't wait for the new episodes to start in November! My brother told me there were going to be new episodes and I couldn't believe it. I'm so excited! :)

I also can't wait for these new episode of Dexter's Laboratory!! More of Dexter and of course one of my fav. character, Dee Dee!!:D

I may not get CN at my house...but rest assured, I WILL go find a place that has Dexter and watch the season premiere! No way I'm gonna miss this! Mark my words...(goes on babbling)
...Anyone know any spoilers for this season? At least will we see the the superhero trio again? :D

Seriously, from what I've read, there won't be any superheroes, but there will be nude scenes for Dex & a bit of backstory for Mandark. That's what I remember.

Nude Dexter!?:eek: Okay...maybe I'm not THAT eager for Dexter...and it's another minus now that Major Glory, Klonk (name?) and Van Hallen aren't going to be in...shoot. They were my fav part of the show!
...oh well, at least we'll learn more on Mandark! :D

--we've seen Dexter's naked bum before, so that's nothing new. And it'll be interesting to see what drives Mandark. I'm always interested to see what makes villains...well...villains. :rolleyes:

He's called Krunk, and yes the Justice Friends were pretty damn cool.

I can't wait for the new episodes. I also heard, though, that Genndy didn't have as much input ('cause of Samauri Jack, an awesome cartoon). Actually, yeah, I heard it from here. :) nevermind.

When someone big on the show leaves or has less influence, the quality ALWAYS suffers! We all know how the Simpsons went down when Groening went to Futurama...and we have a discussion with Johnny Bravo's suckiness right now. So now I'm afraid for the Boy Genius...:(
The Justice Friends eppys, for some reason, aired at 11:30 P.M. during one week I could watch them. They were worth staying up for, and the JF were much better than Monkey...(gags) He had some good moments, but his eppys were rather lackluster to me. Dexter's cameo in the Lavaman eppy was gold, though. :D
DEXTER: (excitedly) "Wow! Siesmic activity is going through the roof in the middle of the city! This I have to see!" (...or something to that extent)

I doubt that the quality is gonna suffer ... he's really strict about his creations, and if it means he has to redo everything himself, he will.
If everything I heard/learned from people in the know is correct ...
Timing perspective, he stopped Dexter a couple years ago to take a break, so he went to work on Powerpuffs (under Craig's direction). With some more free time, the basis for SJ was researched and submitted for developement.
But well, he's had enough Powerpuffs, so he felt like it's time for more Dexter (which CN always wanted more of, but Genndy didn't feel like it at that time, which is why PPG got the full green light). Back to DL, and with a season's worth done (work started summer 2000, I believe).
Somewhere between then and 2001, SJ got the green light. So it's off to work on that. By then, a season's worth of DL was pretty much wrapped up, so there wasn't a whole lot of overlap.
For the record, since SJ is for 3 seasons, it's gonna be 3 more seasons with no new Dexter. He's now fully engulfed in that.

I love Dexter, too. PPG and Dexter are the best Cartoon Cartoons. I just keep wondering why they never put out any Dexter DVDs.

Sorry...but it's classic! And the other Dexter eppy I like best is the eppy when Dexter is spying on the girls, trying to take notes on the 'species'...and gets caught. Heck, having Dexter getting dressed up for a girl, only to be dressed LIKE one is pure genius.
Any other Muffin King fans out there?

My all time favorite episode just rushed to my brain, now! Doll House Drama or something like that. Every part of that epp cracked me up with the blue evil Dexter twin and eating a fake breakfast!

Two other favorites are the Muffin King and Continuem of cartoon Folies. Basically, anything Dexter rocks.:D

Mock 5 is just the most hilarious parody of Speed Racer I have EVER SEEN. :D
